Such a nice experience the drinks are all good quality and the bar staff are all so friendly and love to have a nice chat to you it is not the busiest pub in derby but is definitely one of the nicest I will definitely be coming back for a drink soon

Nice pub

The bar staff are brilliant, nothing they could do better had a smile on there face the whole time I was in the pub, 

Can’t rate them enough, good music, smiles all round.

Working in a pub I understand that it is hard to please customers when it is busy however I also know that you look for who has been waiting to be served
Complete joke that the barmaid served the man in front of us, we queued to get to the front… but the man who was at the front sits down with a drink then comes back to the bar to get served again  before us, and the rest waiting ….

Not a quick drink the match!!

This pub has seriously changed can tell the new owners have invested time and money into the place. The garden is great outdoor telly too very close to football stadium and a burger van to help fill the gap.  Much more family friendly now kids laughing and playing on the swings while mum and dad enjoy a nice cold refreshing beverage in the sun what more could you want.

Birthday

We held a birthday party here, the ladies were really helpful and welcoming, location great for people coming from out of town, large garden for the children to all run riot without disturbing anyone. Ample free onsite parking.
Only dissapointment was the sensor in the toilet cubicle is in the main area and you end up in the dark.

Staff very welcoming and great place for drinks before you heading out into town 

Recommend attending if you want to chill out for evenings or to play pool then got separate room to enjoy

Appalling... never again... worst hotel stay of  my life awful bar awful rooms n the safety of the car park is non existent

Worst hotel of my life

Last time we were there, a barking dog had free run of the place! Zero atmosphere , Dreadful place, not been back since . Guess what, no matter how many 'bingo type' nights you put on customer service must come first ! Get a grip or more flats!

OK beer and other drinks. Does the job for somewhere which avoids the madness of Town Centre before a game. Easy walk to Pride Park. Pre match parking here for £3 also. Looks as if some food available but never actually saw any!

Ok for pre Derby match.

We had an excellent clean room, separate beds with coffee, tea and biscuits, didn't see much of the staff, but when we did they were polite and helpful, approximately  two & a half miles from the town centre and one mile from Pride Park (Derby County) has a public footpath which looks likes it used to be a road going down behind it, drawbacks are the bathrooms & toilets are not in the room, the doors squeak and bang a lot, and it does not cater any food at all other than biscuits, but it is within walking distance of a bar and takeaways and a couple of small shops.
