We are just back from a lovely 3 night stay at The White House. Check-in was seamless and the owner, Mary was very friendly and helpful. We loved our little suite which was well furnished and clean. The little fridge was a welcome addition. The spring water is fabulous and despite being on a relatively busy road, it was very peaceful. One very minor criticism would be the WiFi, as it only worked for me sitting in a certain position in the cosy little lounge area. It didn’t work at all in the bedroom. This was only an issue for me as my son with additional needs likes to FaceTime me regularly when I’m away(!) . Mary told us about a great little walk into Wells which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was served to our room and was fabulous. Lovely homemade goods (especially the sourdough!) and we demolished it every morning! A really superb place and we would love to return.
