Cliftonville Hotel

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in Mid-January. We found the hotel very comfortable with an excellent restaurant. The rooms were spotlessly clean, a good size with comfortable beds. The rooms have everything you need and nothing you don’t. The staff throughout were welcoming and smiley. The food throughout our stay was excellent – so a big shout out to the chef. The three breakfasts were beautifully presented with a good choice of items, whilst the two dinners we had were super tasty. The restaurant itself has many booths and tables that overlook the sea – they really have made the most of the view – and it’s just a very nice space to spend time in. In the winter they have the log burner lit which makes things toasty. The hotel is Grade Two listed and the ambiance within is straight out of Edwardian England – you keep expecting Miss Marple to exit the lift as you wait, muttering that there had been a murder in Cromer. Recommended.
