the OWNER Eliza Cook is tramp who wrecks families and takes no responsibility from having affairs with married guests. If your husband is booking for business you might want to go else where. And about the place itself the cleaning standards are below average and is more like a brothel than a guest house.

Room nice, reasonable price. Shower good. A big shame about the other inconsiderate people in room opposite.Very noisy until gone 2 in the morning, did not get much sleep. Had an early start plus a very long drive to do the next day, so not great!

Nice room, buy very noisy

Location is okay but there is no shop across the road anymore as this is permanently closed. 
Walls are very thin can hear the person next door snoring all night. A lot of workers staying here at present. It was clean, free parking great Chinese next door. Not really somewhere to stay if you are holidaying. Okay for 1 person but too small for 2. Was clean and modern with tea/coffee and room was cleaned daily if you wanted it done. No do not disturb sign. Staff are friendly.

Many workers, Thin walls & Small rooms

This place is lovely quiet area very clean plenty of tea and coffee. We needed a room for the night while we went to a show at my granddaughter school so it was just a bed we needed and this ticked all the boxes.

We will be using this place again.

I can't comment on the staff as we never saw anyone as it was all contact less check in.

Week end stay great place

I booked a room for £50 for 1 night  for an event.
3 weeks before the event, the hotel cancelled my room with no explanation. 
I had another look at the website and saw availability on the same night but the price had gone up to £60. 
I thought it a bit cheeky but understood that utility bills are going up etc. So I rebooted.
Hotel have now cancelled that booking too, again with no explanation.  But it is still showing as available on their website!! 
Avoid. There are more professional hotels nearby.

Not impressed 

Ideal for a one night stay. Comfortable bed, all the facilities that you need. Easy check in, clean and tidy and friendly staff. Also free on site parking. I would recommend. Towels, toiletries and tea and coffee is provided.

Excellent value for money

Stayed to attend radio one big weekend friday night with my partner and 2 older kids, all the staff were really nice and helpful and  made our room up for us as we landed early so we could get ready .Room was spotless  amd the beds were really comfy,  would definitely recommend.

Reviews all said clean and comfortable and deserved of a high review score.
Found the place to be dirty, radiator in bathroom had a good inch of filth, bathroom shelf dirty and blood on the bath mat.
Bed was like sleeping on a block of wood. 
If looking for a place to stay then carry on looking.

Don’t believe everything you read

booked on 31 august for 05th december arrival of one night to visit Coventry air museum and unfortunately had to cancel on 16th november due to covid illness 
they had taken my total cost on 01 sept after clearly stating it would not be before 02 december after many communication attempts (telephone & e mail ) i am still awaiting a reply since first response telling me it was booking.com who took deposit  i have since forwarded hotel a copy email noting their taking of deposit and a further notice that i had checked with my credit card company who also confirmed same,  they continue to still ignore my requests to honour my request
now i have put it in the hands of my credit card company to process a recharge so beware in the case of cancellation requirement

I booked this through The Oak Baginton who hadn't got a room available. Initially I couldn't get the security key lock to work and needed assistance by going down to The Oak. Having got into the room I found it had not been serviced, so had to go back to The Oak to get it sorted. I retired to bed at 2230 hrs to be woken at midnight by others returning who were then in the room above me. They then put on the television and not only walked around the room in which the floorboards creaked but they talked and didn't stop until gone 0300 hrs. It all went quiet for about 15 minutes before snoring started which didn't completely stop until after 0700 hrs.
