Fantastic, Dawn is a fabulous host, room was just perfect, clean, fresh, everything you could want. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful

I stayed in a freshly refurbished room that could not have been nicer: great views, a spacious, comfortable room and a stylish bathroom. There was nothing to fault.

The room itself was tastefully decorated in muted colours with a comfortable chair and desk to sit at. The bathroom was well lit, with a bath, shower and big fluffy towels.

Little touches made a big difference with a slice of  freshly made cake and gourmet teas and coffees.

Breakfast was served downstairs in the dining room. Dawn could not have been more attentive and friendly. There was a range of muesli, granola and fresh juice and the cooked breakfast was one of the best I've tasted.

I stayed in the Little Stable, and was pleasantly surprised by the location out in the wilderness of Northamptonshire. Beautiful sunsets, the sound of silence broken with birds in song, wild flowers and fields as far as the eye can see.
The facility was clean and well presented. with large TV and internet, to stay in contact with the outside world. sitting area, fold down table, small kitchen area including all the usually items eg microwave, fridge freezer, toaster 2 ring hob and a sink.
The bed was comfortable and I slept like a log considering it was quite warm.
the bathroom was small sink, toilet and shower and lavishing hot water available.
Outside a small seating area and a fire pit for the more adventurous.
the Little stable is a gem and ideal for single person/couples who wish to have the quietness of the country side but close to the rest of the local area.
I dined out on two evenings at the George restaurant and pub approx. 5 minutes in the car to the village.
 Has I was away from home working this was like a mini break with a difference.
I would recommend this established and the lovely host Dawn who makes you feel at home.

Silence and the sound of bird song

In a rural area Laudimer House is ideal for a quiet relaxing getaway, the host was excellent nothing was too much trouble, the room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this property.

Hospitable host who set out dining room for us to have a takeaway in style. Refurbished room, huge comfy bed, walk in shower, in pristine condition. Delicious freshly made breakfast. Very relaxing stay.

Stayed here seven years ago and is still excellent.
Dawn is a lovely host and the breakfast is superb, nothing is too much trouble.
This is probably the best B & B in this area and I would highly recommend.

Super B & B.

Exceptionally clean bedroom/bathroom and comfy bed, plenty of power/usb points, fan etc in the room.  Howerever there was a lack of personal touches, first B&B that did not have biscuits supplied for when you just wanted a cuppa and a bit extra.   Two big fluffy bath towels but rationed to one hand towel.  Nowhere were there books (always been paperbacks to read or swop in B&B's) local info packs and info on places to eat a bit out of date.  Hard to find places to eat Sun to Weds evenings unless a Hotel.  However Food and service in Talbot hotel in Oundle superb.    We have been travelling in East Midlands extensively over the last year house hunting and always in B&B's and most have a mini fridge for use with fresh milk and bottles of water and a detailed breakfast menu.  The breakfast was nice but spoiled by cheap wafer thin bacon and rationed to one piece of toast.    Its just some of those things that make a place feel special and a wanted guest rather than just a paying guest.   A nice tidy place to sit outside would have been nice too.  Massive construction sites of houses and a school at top of road with a lot of building dust down the unmade up road to the house which coated the car thickly and meandered in the air.   Was adamant at end of stay that I owed payment but I stated I had prepaid fully and had bank evidence and a gentle argument occurred and eventually it was proven on line I was correct but it soured it a little.

Could be more welcoming.

Second visit to Laundimer House for business trip. Warm welcome from owner. Quiet location with parking ideal for Corby and surrounding area.

High quality accommodation; excellent value for money. Room spotless, comfortable bed, modern fittings with all amenities. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Will definitely book again if in the area. Highly recommended.

Fantastic B&B

I was warmly greeted and shown into a beautiful room.  Everything was spotlessly clean and of good quality.  The extra touches such as the choice of teas and the large slice of chocolate cake were much appreciated.  A comfortable bed and the peaceful location ensured a really good night's sleep.  Very good breakfast.  My stay was for only one night but I wished it could have been longer.  Highly recommended.  I will certainly come again.
