I stayed here in May 2018 for 4 nights. I was nervous about staying by myself as it was the first time I had been away alone. However, I was greeted very friendly and made to feel very welcome. It felt more like being at home than it did staying at a bnb. The room itself was on the smaller side but as I was on my own it was perfect. The bed was really comfortable which was surprising for a bnb. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, flannel, hairdryer etc was provided which I thought was a nice touch. There was quite alot of space for food and clothes. plates, bowls etc are provided along with a microwave, fridge and kettle. Fresh milk was provided and the room was cleaned every morning. Breakfast was amazing. very fresh and marje was very keen on making sure everything was perfect. the shower wasn't the best but it was dealable. There was an Italian restaurant just across the road which always seemed pretty full although I didn't get chance to try it. Overall I was very happy with my stay at the rose cottage, definetly RECCOMEND, especially for single travellers.
