Had Sunday lunch, the carvery was delicious plenty of veg, carrot peas cabbage parsnips boiled and roast potatoes,Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, and homemade gravy and choice of meat, beef turkey chicken, yummy would recommend.

What can I say?! After a nightmare travelling, got there at past midnight and the landlord made sure we got in and settled and welcomed us in a lovely way. We stayed in a triple room which was clean and very comfortable. The hosts Peter and Tracey were absolutely phenomenal. They were funny, accommodating and interesting. We had a right laugh and it truly felt like a home from home! 
Breakfast was a full English and as I’m a vegetarian they catered for me wonderfully. Drinks were reasonably priced and music was playing all the time and it was good music..... an array of it!
We even got up early on the Sunday to watch the rugby downstairs and it was just a lovely atmosphere. I will 100 percent visit again. No doubt about it.

Dynevor Arms in the quaint town of Pontardawe Wales. 
A welcoming B&B in this lovely little village. This B&B offers the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Our room was very comfortable, warm and inviting with tea coffee a lovely shower room and extras to make our stay home feeling.
Breakfast is a very big English dish delivered freshly cooked toast, with cereals to choose from before hand.
Lovely couple Peter and his lovely wife make so much effort to make our stay welcoming and comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Dynevor Arms! Stayed for 3 nights and had a really enjoyable time. Peter & the team are friendly, helpful and made our time in Swansea for Biggest Weekend really enjoyable!

Located above the pub, reasonably priced drinks & extremely friendly locals. Not to far from Swansea & only an hour from Cardiff! If you are looking for a nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff & a decent location in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I would recommend the Dynevor Arms!

5 of us visited late September for 2 nights.
The rooms although dated were spacious and ideal for what we needed.
The breakfast was excellent as was the hosts hospitality.
On our last night the landlord served us with snacks of scotch eggs and lemon drizzle cake which was very nice. One of our party even said they would come again just to see the landlord and his mates
Near to all the pubs which regularly have live music on.
You can park in the pub yard instead of by the roadside
If i needed to stop in Pontardawe i would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for one night.  Room was nice and big but a little dusty.  Very friendly welcoming owners and the breakfast was amazing cooked and served by a lovely lady who we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with.  Would definitely return and stay again.

We stayed for two nights and were happy with the room - which was a little tired but clean - the bed was comfy - we had a shower and TV.  We used this as a  base to visit the Swansea and Mumbles area.  The breakfasts are amazing - be warned that a full English can take some eating - all cooked fresh and beautifully present.  We found a lovely steak house in the village just around the corner called the Ranch for our evening meal - it was a real treat.  Unfortunately the Pontardwe Arms (Marstons) does not do food unless you book - we also tried the Millers in a neighbouring village - nice pub - OK food.

Basic accommodation but practical - comfy bed, en-suite a little snug but did the job!
Property is dated in its decor and threadbare carpets but it is a proper pub - Pool table, Darts, Juke box and their Breakfast is a good plateful although the quality isn't the best (Battery hen egg - very pale yokes, tinned tomatoes) but don't be put off by this as the price they charge reflects this - great value!
No evening meals available but there are take aways and other places nearby offering food.
