12 reviewsThe uniqueness and history of this hotel when combined with the service and friendliness of the staff cannot be overstated. The rooms have been "renovated" whilst retaining all the character of the original and are comfortable and provide everything one needs. I stayed in the Cathedral Room and was charmed by the maze of winding stairs and changes in floor levels as I was lead to the top of the building. I was warned that the retention of the historic windows could lead to noise transmission from the street below. They were not wrong. However, a small price to pay for the historic vibe of the place. The unexpected El Sol tapas bar was delightful and the food the best Spanish cuisine I've had outside Spain.
