Lovely hotel to visit, handy location, polite staff, great breakfast

Hotel was really good value for money. Great location for what we needed and really friendly staff and good service.

A wonderful old Inn, expanded some years to provide 13 bedrooms in a delightful and thoughtful ole-world fashion; beware however there is no lift.The staff were incredibly helpful helpful and pleasant.The pub is known locally as The Cherry Brandy House and it is worth having a glass.The Crown is at a busy but very convenient junction but the traffic noise is negligible.

Had a great stay here, location was great as were facilities.  Manager was very accommodating and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay again. Plenty of parking. Good transport links to Margate.

Excellent place to stay and just outside of Margate. Very friendly staff, Bar person when we arrived was welcoming, asked us about our stay and what we had planned. Also recommended a great Thai restaurant in town.

The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable; I had the best nights sleep in a long time. I had a delicious evening meal which was very filling and a tasty freshly cooked breakfast the following morning. I was going to stay at a well known hotel chain, but I am so glad I came here instead. Will definitely use again when I need a weekend away. Brilliant value for money!

Staying here for work and cant fault it at all. Rooms have been updated but still inkeeping with the age of building. Nice comfy bed and clean room. Evening meals were amazing especiallythe suet pudding. Will definitely be returning

Beautiful location. Clean, tidy comfortable rooms. Landlord and staff very polite, friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious . Nothing was too much. Definitely recommend.  
We stayed for 4 days and had a great break away. 

This was the second time at the Cherry Brandy House and again was thoroughly enjoyable. Parking was easy and access to Canterbury Margate Broadstairs and Ramsgate was simple.
The landlord is very welcoming and the perfect host in a country pub. 
The rooms are comfortable and the full English breakfasts are very satisfying meaning that lunch out needed to be light. Evening meal menu was good typical of a country inn but with a few interesting additions.  
Will definitely stay there again next year. Thank you Clive we had a great time see you next year.

We had a fantastic meal here. The food was excellent and very well priced.  Coupled with the dry wit of the landlord we had a great time!!  The chicken, sausage meat and apricot pie was an absolute winner!!

A short break in Kent

A friend and I called in the second day drinking in pub gardens was allowed. Clive, the publican is very welcoming and obviously loves the pub. He has an interest in history and talked about the pub’s architecture and contents. The beer garden is lovely and there were so many birds singing, it was enchanting. There’s a good selection of beers and proper thick chips!

Wonderful pub

Came here for my Grandads birthday and I was wonderfully surprised at the high standard of food. Proper pub grub and at a reasonable price. Will definitely be returning. Clive was just brilliant too, very funny and attentive. 
Great afternoon here considering the current circumstances. Felt very safe. Loved it.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE.

We only stayed for one night but we felt at home straightaway. We stayed in the honeymoon room! Sleeping in a 4 poster bed was a first for us! We dined in the restaurant and have to say that it was all as good as food  can be , service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff .Clive was like an old friend after 10 mins in his company.We would return if not for anything else then for the fo.od

The  food made our stay  so enjoyable.

Stayed with my wife for one night whist attending a family wedding. Very welcoming and must make a special mention of the manager Clive who was very pleasent and helpful. The room was large and bright with p0eriod furniture. The breakfast was of good quality. W£ould consider staying again if ever in the area.
