Given an upgrade by Emma. It was beyond expectations. Emma was efficient, polite, considerate and understanding. We had an absolutely amazing relaxing long weekend. All staff on site were helpful and polite. Thank you all so much!! We will be back 👍 Mandy and Lesley.

Lovely stay at parkdean resorts, Emma was very welcoming and helped us with our issue regarding swimming very quickly. Lovely lady! Great stay at camber highly recommend, thunderbirds is the best place to eat 

Absolutely love this place! Modern clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly approachable staff in all areas. The receptionists Jess & Abbie have great energy and are on hand to assist with any issues that may arise. Great entertainment and lovely settings all around. 

Went to camber sands park Sean resorts was a great family holiday troupers got both kids and adults involved lovely friendly park caravan very clean and comfy an enjoyable week away will be booking to return 

Really good caravan. Amazing, very clean I couldn’t find any cleanliness issues. It’s five stars from me!! Supervisor catelin was very lovely and helped me find my caravan. Definitely would stay again.

From booking our holiday, pre booking activities to arrival it was an easy and pleasant experience. We were complimentary upgraded to a beautiful lodge in an excellent location. The lodge was so great we even said we could easily  spend the summer there. Activities were brilliant and the staff could not do enough to help my 10 year old twins. The arcades had plenty for everyone to do without being overwhelming. 
The on site restaurant and entertainment complex were faultless. 
A 10/10 mini break. We can not wait to book again for next year!

Interesting to read the marmite testaments recently for other people’s stays. From our point of view this was a lovely stay for us this weekend, but then we’re glass half full people and will make the best of it even if not quite what we were expecting. Friendly and accommodating staff from security, reception, bar and restaurant, clean and toasty warm caravan, tasty food, good Halloween entertainment – our little lad had a whale of a time at the slime workshop as did the other kids!

Perfect base to tour the area too – went to Rye Leisure Centre for a swim as nigh on impossible sometimes to get a swimming slot at these camps – only 3 other families but sadly closes for good tomorrow. Loved Rye and Winchelsea with friendly locals, plenty of history with the castle, museums, peaceful churches and hostelries serving excellent food including the Old Bell and Old Borough Arms. 

We’ll be back – keep up the good work 

Came here to work for F1 weekend and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left Karen C looked after us amazingly well. She made the whole weekend a great success.....THANK YOU Karen C

The food was great, on time, well cooked. The chalet was very comfortable and clean.

This is our 1st time coming to a parkdean holiday and we’ve had an amazing time!!! It was a tots week and all the troupers were great. Always super happy to see us and our daughter, took the time to remember her name and made her welcome every time. Meg, Lauren, Emily, Shane and the manager were amazing would def return

Upgraded to a lodge style van, very clean and comfortable with everything we needed!
Had one meal on site which was OK.
2 staff need a special mention.... Rachel who worked in both the boathouse and showbar, very helpful, tables were cleared quickly and she didn't stop!!
The 2nd was a young man working in the boathouse in the afternoons again clearing and sanitising the tables we don't know his name but feel he needs to be mentioned for his work ethic.
Sad that the touring site has gone as we used this regularly pre covid.
Also sad to see the Rye bar is now just for owners and disappointed that on Saturday night the show bar was just for owners... Had we have known this when booking we would have chosen an alternative date. The entertainment was put on in the boathouse instead which was good... Just not enough room for all and not enough staff behind the bar.
I expect we will come back for an off season cheap break.

book every year for great firework nov weekend away camber sands with my 3 grandkids they love it there.The two boys love the football training and grandaughter loves the shows.We always have such great fun at the camp and the beach at camber is the best even in winter.Love spending time with my grandchildren here at this camp.

Great family holiday

5 stars!!

Started with us arriving 4 hours early and was greeted by a very smilie, helpful and understanding receptionist kerri. My wife needed to breastfeed so we explained can we get a site pass, find somewhere warm to have lunch and feed the baby. She understood and was quick to aid us. Our caravan wasn't ready yet obviously which we understood.  She said she would call us if it became available. She did end up doing this about 1 hour earlier than expected which for our situation was handy as 2 kids and a dog that needed unpacking. Dogs can go everywhere except anywhere INSIDE obviously.  We went to have a very average lunch which would continue the rest of the week. Its like a wetherspoons quality trying to be as good as a harvester but failing. It's a one page menu for adults and a 1/4 page menu with what u expect on it. Not that cheap either. The problem is I think atleast once if not twice a day they just wouldn't have something you wanted to eat and drink, day 1, no white sauvingnon,  day 2, no cider,  day 3 something else and so on. The last day was the final straw,  my wife ordered a mixed grill which is about 25 quid, when it got served 4 things were missing off it and the waitress, not the bar staff said ' we haven't got it all' if that's the case, why let me lay for it. The communication seems very poor in these places. There always seems about 6 people doing nothing very busily and one poor sod serving people even slower. Trying to get served from breakfast to lunch to dinner to evening entertainment takes an absoloute age, especially getting an alcoholic drink. Definitely use the app on site as it does shave half the time of actually getting something but be well prepared for some aspect of disappointment. The three take away food trucks/ the chippy on site isn't actually that bad food but if you don't wanna feel like you're living off take aways you don't have much other choices. We didn't want to have a mini break and cook all day and night but eating out/in proved to be a bad idea after £500 + spent in 4 nights/5 days. We are 36 and 34 with a 3 year and 3 month old, we also took our 8 year sausage dog. We was never out out past 8pm for this reason so I can't comment about the late late night side of things. The kids club from 5-7 my 3 year old absolutely loved and the crew/characters theme they have is spot on. One thing I wouldn't recommend is don't turn up to anything a minute early as you will end up in a 100 people pile up queue through an arcade which is just stupid and happens for everything. Day and night, activity pre booked or on mass. Silky system I feel. I can't fault the girls doing the activities for the kids one bit. It's a very small site so when raining it absolutely kills it. Not much to do unless it's another costly indoor activity. I don't think I'd rush back as day 1 we didn't even get any bedding, pillow covers bed sheet and all the pipes had burst under our caravan.  I will admit both problems were sorted within 20 minutes but an awful start. I think we need a site with atkeast twice as much going on and we only went Monday afternoon to Friday morning.  Location is spot on for the beach and the caravan size was absolutely shockingly acceptable and I thought that's what I'd struggle with the most. We certainly aren't snops in anyway but certain standards across the whole site are just poor or disorganised or slow or just constant bumps in the road which you just want on a small staycation. May have been better in peak sunshine but I don't think I could have done a full week with this standard.  I hope this gets read by someone from the park as I feel a reply is a sign of someone who cares and wants to improve. Doubt we'd return but saw plenty of other people seeming to have a good time and were certainly frequent caravan goers. Hope this was useful as it's 100% honest. Small spar on site which is useful.

Honest first timer review

We paid extra to upgrade to a lodge I highly recommend this if you can afford it as the accommodation was fantastic and spotlessly clean. However the outside areas and the outside of the van really need a good jet wash, this is for the majority of the site.

The communal areas are very dirty litter everywhere there was a dirty nappy for 2 days outside the fish and chip shop a staff member must of seen it. 

The que for reception at 4pm is huge I suggest waiting outside at least 30mins early took us a hour before we could get to anyone but I must say the lady’s at reception are very good and must be commended for their customer service we saw on numerous occasions whilst waiting in line the level of abuse they get is not fair at all. 

We have a 10 month old so paid for a travel cot in our room when we opened it, it was covered in mould and mud within 10 mins of reporting it was replaced with a brand new one so again hats off to the team.

We actually came home a day early purely for not enough to do in the area which is real shame, there’s nothing at all in camber no where to walk to like a village or a town and no pubs bar restaurants everything is run down. 

I would agree with some of the other comments on here especially around security they just let anyone in at the front gates and we didn’t feel very safe especially watching parents consuming the amount of alcohol and have kids running around without supervision. 

We did have a nice time but I wouldn’t visit again.

Really needs a good clean up!

Caravans packed in like sardines but was impressed with the standard of the caravan inside . Major lack of parking on busy periods . Don’t expect to park next to your accommodation. Rubbish everywhere (left by guests) especially by caravans . Constant smell of weed being smoked and fag butts all over the place. Excellent facilities onsite and staff were friendly . Security guards especially. It was fine but won’t be going back. 
Caravan could have done with a cheese grater and potato peeler as well as a bathroom bin. Well equipped otherwise . 
Needs a major clean up and would be fine.
