West Beach Hotel Brighton

We stayed here New Year's Eve as it was really good value and our room (Standard Plus) had a sea view, so we wound up watching the fireworks from bed. The room was massive, and the main light and bedside lights had dimmer switches. There were also power sockets on both sides of the huge bed. I mention this as I've stayed in places where there's only one socket on one side of the bed and that annoys me. The bathroom was also big, with a bath and walk in shower, with everything you might need including eco toothbrush/toothpaste sets. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable, despite the raging wind outside! The hotel location is perfect - around 20 mins walk from the train station, literally opposite the beach and close to the high street and shopping centre. The staff were very friendly on check in and check out. We would definitely stay here again!
