The site is well organised, clean, safe and tidy with lots of first class facilities.
Staff were friendly and helpful and kept the grounds spotless.
The onsite shop was well stocked and reasonably priced.
Martin's bar offered a good menu (although we didn't sample any of it). Drinks were expensive.
The location is excellent, close to Eype beach, walking distance to Bridport with bus stops to the Jurassic coast.
Sunsets were spectacular.
Definitely recommend. Thank you for the chance to recharge our batteries!

Took the motorhome on its first proper trip, facilities superb, pitches were large with over 7m Motorhome. Food in bar was excellent, nice walks to west Bay and Bridport.
Weather was shocking but it didn't matter. Toilet blocks pristine and always open. A poole sauna and steamroom were available

My second visit to Highlands end and what a great site. Fantastically clean and tidy with great facilities including a bar and restaurant and shop. Hard base pitches are great, completely level with water on tap. The park’s location is brilliant, right on the coast path, fantastic walking in all directions with stunning views. The warm dog wash is a real bonus in the wetter winter months. Great well run site, very happy thank you

Had a wonderful stay at Highlands End, check in was super easy, everyone was incredibly friendly. Facilities were excellent and cleaned daily to a very high standard. Weather warning email and useful tips a very nice touch indeed. We will definitely be back soon.

Came for our first motorhome trip to this site. A lovely, clean site, very helpful staff in the shop. Even though had to book a gravel pitch and hard pitch they conveniently changed it to a hard pitch for all the nights when we arrived. 
Showers great, well kept and clean.
Very convenient for the Coast Path.

2nd visit to Highlands End in Eype
First time we camp, couldn’t have asked for a better position and waking up to that beautiful view each morning, met some lovely fellow campers, as it was first time camping for me, was abit apprehensive but I loved every minute of it.
2nd visit we stayed in caravan, clean, spacious and all comforts of home, dog friendly. Spar shop onsite stocks most everything you need, very convenient, staff are friendly and helpful, it’s an immaculate site, kept extremely well, great place to visit with so much on offer
Don’t forget to pack your bedding as the bedding and towels can set you back a price £25 for one set of sheets and 2 towels bit pricey, bought extra towels in Asda for couple quid (took home)

Stayed here last weekend and can only praise what a great site this is for Motorhomes.
The Pitches are flat and both a good size and well spaced.
The facilities are amazing and so clean.
Very dog friendly, with a paddock only for dogs to run around in. 
Tiny bit of a hike up the hill to the well stocked shop and bar/restaurant, but nothing too dramatic.
The walk into West Bay is stunning.
We will be back again and again.

Beautiful pitches can’t wait to return. The views are stunning and a lovely coastal walk to West Bay or Eype.

Amazing place to stay. Great walking on the beach and on the coastal path with our Labrador. Showers and toilets very clean. Good dog walking on site for a short evening walk. Definitely going to book again. Easy to check in on arrival. The views are amazing from the top of the hills.

An excellent, clean, friendly site, close to beaches and Bridport

Arrived on the wettest, windiest day possible...or so we thought. 😀 Set up our caravan, but had to park our car in front of it as the grass was completely sodden. The weather turned better for a few days, but then, the wildest night we have ever experienced in our caravaning days!!!! No sleep as the caravan was moving so much and the wind even blew our chocks out - the site is on a cliff top with no trees/hedges protecting units from the winds. 😱 Then fab weather again  for a couple of days and what a difference - then a day spent in the caravan due to more high winds and torrential rain. 
The site itself is lovely - super clean, heated shower blocks, excellent waste facilities, leisure club is brilliant and great on a wet day, the shop is well stocked, the staff friendly and the bar great. We felt sad at the way the grass has been torn up by cars, but that's something the owners can't help in our climate. 
Easy to walk to West Bay and Eype with good walking boots at this time of year as the paths/fields are very waterlogged, muddy and slippy. Great warm dog shower to clean your pooch on return. 😀 
The site has lots of holiday homes, then there's caravans/motorhomes, pods and space for tents; when busy would be hard on the facilities blocks. (We warden through the season and know how the demand on facilities is problematic). We didn't see or speak to a warden when here, so it's really low key with ANPR for entry/exit. (We do like to check the comfort of our guests on our site, but it's an individual site thing and we only have 90 pitches).
To sum up, I would check the weather if booking last minute, especially if camping or putting up an awning and certainly make sure you have storm straps. There are lots of places to visit from here, so you won't be stuck for things to do.  The views are stunning from the site and there are lots of birds and rabbits.

Lovely site - beware the winds!!!

Brilliant site in a great location

The lodges are very well equipped and situated in a pleasantly quiet setting with stunning views over the south Dorset countryside and coast. Unfortunately although during previous stays the weather has been beautiful we drew the short straw this time and experienced virtually every  element except snow; but that is not the fault of WDLH! Their customer service etc. is very efficient and helpful and they always provide an excellent selection of meals and refreshments in Martins restaurant.

We stayed on a gravel pitch in our campervan, the site was very popular however the pitches are large with plenty of space between each one, the site has great facilities and the toilets and showers were clean and fully functional. They also have a spa shop which is reasonably priced and has all sorts of camping extras should you need them. The pool was also extremely well maintained, the only niggle was being told I could not leave my 12 year old to go into the Sauna for 5 to 10 mins! it so happens my son is a better stronger swimmer than myself now (and I am not the worst). Had a roast dinner at the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious, dogs are also welcome in some parts of the bar/restaurant area. We will most definitely return here in better weather, can be quite windy due to being so close to the coast but did not bother us at all.

Excellent site with full facilites and spectacular views

The experience from booking to arriving is exceptional pick your own pitch. This site has it all going for it the position is stunning, the toilet blocks immaculate with very hot showers and strong flushing toilets, plenty of room, well looked after I couldn’t fault anything. ** Worth noting that if you intend to use the laundry you will need to download an app that is not the easiest to use.. I wasted 2 hrs and gave up! Once you’ve mastered how it works I’m sure it works well .. you cannot use coins**  

A fabulous site 

The site was excellent, we would have given 10 stars but when we went to use the Restaurant facility on the Friday evening (we were only there for 2 nights).  We were told it was closed for a private function!
We were not informed of this upon arrival and certainly did not receive an email as stated by a member of the staff........such a shame and had to order a takeway and pay for it to be delivered to the site.
