I and my partner were visiting my daughter who is studying at the Uni of Derby in Buxton. This BnB is just outside Ashbourne a 30 minute drive south of Buxton. Babette and Tom are convivial hosts. The farm has been in the family for 100 years and their stewardship of the farm has been excellent with tree planting encouraging wildlife into the farm. Our room was on the first floor and was impeccable, clean, warm and comfy. We arrived late and saw hares as we drove up to the property and I. The morning the view from our bedroom was breathtaking. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The property is somewhat isolated but we found this to be a positive. I’d certainly recommend this property if you are wanting to explore the Peak District and surrounding towns. Thank you for a lovely stay. The photo is a panaramic view from our bedroom. 

Excellent BNB in beautiful setting

Happily just spent a lovely long weekend at Holly Meadow Farm. What a beautiful place. The view from our huge beautiful room was far reaching, and the surroundings so peaceful. Babette and Tom were so welcoming, helpful and interesting to talk to. Breakfast was out of this world! A real home from home! Thank you both for being wonderful hosts. It was a joy to stay with you.

Fantastic Farm Stay!

Farm b&b. Good room, en-suite shower. Excellent breakfast. Lovely area. enjoyable walks close by. Very friendly hosts who made us very welcome. We would happily go back there again.

My only suggestion would be separate plates for each cooked breakfast, rather than one large plate from which people select.

Walking weekend

Welcoming tea and homemade cake on arrival was a nice touch at this third generation owned farm.Lovely suite with views over the fields.Well appointed, very comfortable king-size bed and a large bathroom with bath and shower. Super breakfast with plenty of choices but the full Derbyshire grill with oatcakes was the tops!  A great place to stay for walkers or visitors to this delightful part of Derbyshire.

Peaceful Bliss

Staying at Holly Meadow Farm made our 4 night break fabulous. We enjoyed every minute and could not have had a lovelier room, better views or more friendly hosts anywhere! We loved the furniture in our room and around the house. 
Tom and Babette were so generous with their time, information and local knowledge. Breakfasts are super of course! and the choice of recommended places to eat out in the area is also very good indeed.

A place we'll remember - for all the right reasons!

Peaceful “off the beaten track” location with a warm welcome from our hosts in this lovely area of Derbyshire.
We learned a lot about the farm, history and local area, the wildlife around, and really enjoyed our short stay in a very spacious room.  We will certainly be back!  Thanks. 

Fascinating hosts, interesting farm, lovely breakfasts.

We had a wonderful weekend at Manor Farm. Babette and Tom were both very welcoming and extremely helpful with excellent advice on walks, cycling and places to visit in the area. The location is superb very relaxing and peaceful, it is such a beautiful area with good places to eat in nearby villages. 
The house was spotless, our bedroom was very comfortable with fabulous views, and was beautifully decorated. Breakfast (and cake on our arrival)  was delicious, Babette is obviously a great cook! 
We would definitely recommend this farm stay.
