The Lonsdale Hotel

A truly comfortable place to stay , super clean witha  comfortable bed and great shower added to this the room was beautifuly decortated , the breakfast was faultless with both great ingrediants and service , just a lovely place to stay would not hesitate to return.

Two fabulous nights, in a beautiful hotel, run by two equally beautiful people, both welcoming warm and helpful, fresh milk in the fridge freshly backed biscuits, a super comfortable bed, the whole place was clean, breakfast was scrumptious and faultless, we will be back, thank you both for making my birthday that little bit more special.

We spent 2 nights at The Lonsdale, and it was excellent!
We stayed in the Edwardian Suite.
Really comfortable bed, and pillows. Spotlessly clean, fridge, crystal glasses, roll top bath to soak in.
We were blessed with a warm, sunny weekend, and enjoyed this with our friends, sipping chilled fizz, on the balcony.
Lovely breakfast, and Steve and Karl were warm, attentive and amusing hosts. Steve even played 'Happy Birthday' for our friend, on the piano!
Thank you Steve and Karl. It was  worth every penny, and we'll be back!

We've been coming to Blackpool for many years and  we have now found the best place to stay from now on.
The place is just incredible, the owners Steven and Karl have made the place into a little oasis which is just perfect. 
As soon as we arrived they looked after us, helping with parking, showing us our room.
The room was immaculate, a beautiful balcony with table and chairs, the beds were the most comfortable.
We didn't really want to leave the room whilst we were there it was so comfy! 
The breakfast was delicious and Steve looked so smart in the morning suit each morning.
This is the only place we will stay when we come to Blackpool from now on.

We stayed in the Edwardian Suite. So much space, two TVs, Radio, iron, fridge, fresh milk and cookies, coffee/tea facilities, large tub, lounge, dining  area and two balconies. Quiet room. Spotless. Hosts Stephen & Karl wonderful. Excellent breakfast . 5 star quality. Must be the best hotel in Blackpool. We booked this based on 10/10 reviews. Outstanding.

The hotel is a beautiful bed and breakfast. In a quiet area of Blackpool.  Extremely clean with lovely furnishings. The hosts are lovely. Very Very friendly. I love coming to this hotel and seeing the owners. We are already booked in for next year.

Simply one of the best hotels in Blackpool.  Convenient location,  sublime rooms  and hosts whom know how to make you feel at home.

Just perfect . The Lonsdale is a beautiful little B&B and not like anywhere we have stayed before . The personal touches to everything add to its charm . Run by the  two sweetest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure to meet, our whole weekend was as I said just perfect . Thankyou xxx

A gem of a hotel in the heart of Blackpool.

Brilliant stay!

Amazing place to stay 

Outstanding quality & space

 Occasionally I write a review if I feel something is really worth the effort and in this case it most certainly is. I have stayed in many hotels both for business and pleasure with family. Usually the hotels range from okay to pleasant or acceptable but most lean towards the corporate bland minimalist style which let`s face it can be a little boring. The Lonsdale in Blackpool is the exact opposite! It is full of character and style as indeed are the owners Stephen and Karl. My wife and I recently stayed in the Edwardian suite and loved it. Actually, from the moment I rang to book the room I sensed that this was going to be good but was not aware just how good it was. Our room or should I say rooms were like living in a real home; comfortable armchairs, warm décor and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, and I am a little fussy about pillows and beds so believe me it was extremely comfortable. Tea, fresh milk and a coffee machine in the room along with home baked biscuits. At breakfast we were offered fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals etc. along with a lovely full English breakfast and all the fresh coffee you desired and all this at an extremely good price. The location of this hotel is ideal, a short walk to the sea front which you can see from the balcony (side view) which itself has a table and chairs to relax on if the weather is sunny. The hotel is well placed for all the major attractions and is within easy walking distance of the theatres and the Tower. With all this on your doorstep you could be forgiven for thinking it might be a bit noisy but you would be wrong, we stayed three peaceful nights and could have been in the middle of nowhere. There was little or no noise at all, absolutely perfect. The Lonsdale is a peaceful haven. Stephen and Karl could not have been more helpful, they clearly love what they do (as they have been there for 34 years) and it shows in their attention to detail and the spotless cleanliness everywhere. Finally, I am willing to bet most who read this will not have experienced (as we hadn’t up to now) on checking out the owner treated us to wonderful classical piece on his stunningly beautiful grand piano. I am not saying he does this every time, but I showed an interest in the piano and he asked if we would like to hear it. This hotel is one where memories and friendships are made, go on and try it, I think you may just love it.

A Hidden Gem

Amazing place with amazing hosts.Karl and Stephen could not be more welcoming.The rooms are all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.Breakfast is of the highest quality.Having found this place we would never stay anywhere else if we were visiting Blackpool.I give it ten out of ten and would like to give it more.

Amazing B and B with amazing hosts

Exceeded  our expectations and will be returning  
because  of this ,steve and Karl were the perfect hosts ,they parked our car in there secure parking and transported our luggage to our room .Breakfast  was amazing (karl) and Steve made the effort  every day with his dapper suit to serve it .I honestly  say that this  b and b is the best I have have ever stayed in clean friendly and ideal location just 10 min walk north of the tower .

Little gem

I have been enjoying stays at this amazing Hotel for many years now both with my Partner and friends we have been so proud to take there.
It is unique, it is exquisitely elegant and it is spotless throughout. It is a haven amidst the hustle and bustle of Blackpool.
The warm welcome you receive from Proprietors Stephen and Karl is second to none and their guests’ comfort is their priority. They have run the Hotel successfully for 33 years which is a tribute in itself to their Professionalism.
The breakfast is an experience in itself, served by Stephen in his inimitable style and cooked to perfection with only top quality ingredients by Karl.
So it was a simple choice of where to stay when my nephew and I decided on a few days in Blackpool recently and he was made to feel every bit as welcome as I have over the years. He now can’t wait to return with his Partner.
Thank you so much Stephen and Karl for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay from both of us.

A little gem!

Well what can I say about this place. It is a hidden gem in Blackpool. The rooms are both stunning and immaculate. The location is excellent near to all the amenities. The guest is always at the heart at your stay at the Lonsdale.  Breakfast every morning is a delight cooked by Karl and served by the very charming Stephen. It was a pleasure to stay at this wonderful establishment and will definitely be returning soon. It was my parents wedding and they presented them with a bottle of sparkling wine and a card it was a beautiful personal touch.

Brilliant, stylish Victorian themed hotel. This place oozes class everywhere you look.
Secure car park, fantastic breakfast, and totally clean throughout.
Hosts Stephen and Karl make you feel at home, and do everything to ensure your stay is a home from home.
Such a friendly atmosphere created by the hosts.
