We are due to arrive  22nd October for 3 nights, the booking has been made since November 2020 - Received a call from Hoseasons today to advise our mini break has been cancelled due to the park selling the login we were booked into!! no alterative accommodation offered.. not great customer service.
My family including 2 children are very upset. will not be booking again

Very disappointing!!!!

We too have had our holiday cancelled. We were supposed to be going this Saturday 3/9/21  and it was cancelled on Wednesday! We were given no reason or explanation and no apology. I rang and spoke to a lady at reception who was extremely rude and not even a sorry! Beware of this place!

Very disappointing

We were due to stay at this park on 20 August to 27 August however was notified 6 days before we was due to arrive that the Park had decided that our holiday had  been cancelled. 

There was no explanation or reason provided.

We have called and emailed but have had zero response.

We wonder whether our lodge has been sold to someone else who has paid more for it considering UK holidays are in high demand.

Very Disappointing!

Nice location, hot tub clean, big, nice and warm. Checked every day by staff. Was private and surrounded by trees which was nice. Do need a car but that didn’t bother us. Good location for exploring the dales. Very quiet site. Not much for kids to do but we found it peaceful. Staff left us to get on with it which we like. Not intrusive at all. Stayed in dell birch. It was ok for us (as 3) but would have been cramped if more of us as was quite small. Had to provide own towels. Nice and cool all the time which was good for the dogs. Wasn’t impressed by check in and check out times though which was apparently due to covid cleaning. Couldn’t check in until 5pm and had to be out by 9am which was a bit much. Felt like we were paying for 6 days instead of 7. Can also understand what people mean about the fencing and dogs. gaps in fencing are so wide our dogs could have got through them. Felt like we were constantly worried they were going to get out. Could have done with bread knife, egg cups and a mop too. Overall it was nice and peaceful, ideal for exploring and hot tub ideal. Love North Yorkshire. Would come back.

We arrived at the park, following the instructions via confirmation email to go to reception where someone would greet us and give us the keys, as well as give us a tour of the lodge and show us how to use the hot tub.

Upon arrival to reception although open, no one was there at the desks. Ringing the number on the door to say we were here to check in, a woman abruptly asked 'well is someone not there?' After explaining there wasn't, she said she'd send someone down and put the phone down. This wasn't a friendly first impression. 

We got given the keys and the gentleman from the Park said he couldn't show us the lodge due to covid however its all self explanatory. Fair enough. We were given an information pack upon arrival too, but a lot seemed to be missing due to random empty wallets in-between pages. 

We got into the 'luxury lodge' and its a basic caravan at best. Having to bring own towels, tea towels, toilet roll etc isn't luxury. The decor is late 90s / early 2000s. The TV had Netflix and YouTube on however it was that slow it was unusable, which we later discovered was the same for the WiFi.

If this had been sold as what it was, there would be no issue. However it is far from a luxury lodge and certainly not worth the price paid. Hot tub was a nice touch, but the jets on one side of the tub didn't work and again wasn't a luxury level of item for how the park sold itself on Hoseasons. In addition to the the images are misleading as it looks like you are tucked away into the woods, away from other customers - the lodges and other caravans on the park are within a throw stone of each other and lack privacy. 

Nice park if you want a basic caravan for the weekend, but not a luxury break away. There are no direct walking routes from the park, although close to local towns, you must walk via roads the majority of the way, not ideal for children or dogs. A shame expectations were mislead by how the lodge was sold, it has potential.

Stayed in Dell Lodge lovely peaceful site for a relaxing holiday, nice places to visit close by, Bedale, Leyburn and Aysgarth falls all lovely. We also went to Thorpe Perrow gardens which were beautiful. Beds in the lodge were really comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. My only negatives are the lodge is advertised as luxury but although its comfortable i would say very basic also it is dog friendly but i was unable to let my dog roam on the balcony if we were eating outside or in the hot tub as he could easly get through the fence, more secure fencing would be perfect to give our 4 legged friends some freedom.

Peaceful site 

Love it at Lindale Holiday Park. This is the third time we've  stayed here. Everything was fresh and clean, kitchen is well equipped. Beds are pretty comfy and it's so quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect base for a holiday. We stopped in the Birch Lodge which has a hot tub, perfect for relaxing in

Excellent accommodation

We stayed at Lindale Park 23rd April for 3 nights. 
The park itself is peaceful, quiet and picturesque. The wildlife and nearby farms added to a beautiful stay. Located outside a quiet little village but a beautiful walk to nearby villages. We took a 10 minute drive to Layburn and Masham which were great been so close. 
We stayed in a pine lodge which was clean, tidy, spacious, and well equipped. The lodge has a hot tub which was very relaxing after a long day walking. There was a bbq on the deck and free WiFi within the lodge which was a great touch. 
The staff couldn’t do enough to help and it was a great service. 
Overall an amazing stay and would defiantly visit again and persuade others. 

Amaxing

My boyfriend and I came here at the weekend for my birthday and it was perfect. From the initial welcome by staff upon arrival to the wonderful spa bath with mood lighting!

We stayed in Elm and the lodge was so adorable and peaceful. I loved how there were doors from the bedroom and living area into the cute private terrace, which had a small pond.

We stayed for two nights and the only issue was we weren’t there long enough! 

Highly recommend. Fab staycation.

Peace and tranquillity defined

We stayed in dell lodge “birch” myself my partner 2 year old and our dog, the lodge was well equipped and very comfy, perfect place for a week away from the madness of everyday life, lots of local places for walks and even better to come back and get straight in the hot tub, we are looking to re-book again for next year, would recommend highly.
