All the reviews are true, everything you read is correct Glynn & Di are lovely friendly people and nothing is a problem to them. The place itself is fantastic exceptionally clean very well presented but to be honest you two make the business, well done to both of you if we come back to Bath you will be our go to place and we will recommend you to any friends/family who are visiting Bath.

Just spent a wonderful 2 nights here with my mom to experience the Bath Christmas market for the first time. We could not have picked a better place to stay and the value for money was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, made to feel at home straight away and they made many recommendations to make our stay more special. The location is perfect a 5 minute taxi ride away to bath. Parking onsite is fabulous, just left the car there for the weekend and didn’t need to worry about finding parking in bath. Glynn and Diane were kind enough to offer us a lift into bath on two occasions. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful with fresh fruit and yoghurts and a cooked breakfast selection. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning at another time in the future.  

Situated 5 minutes from the centre is this lovely accommodation. Greated by Diane when we arrived with a warm welcome. Provided loads of info on the area and local eateries. Glyn Cooks a mean breakfast. Highly recommend staying here. Room was massive and the stay was very comfortable. 

Myself and my partner stayed here last weekend and it was just so lovely and cosy. 

A massive magical Christmas tree greeted us which was displayed in the bay window of the guest lounge as we arrived. 

Diane opened the front door for us, assisted with our bags. She is such a genuine friendly lady giving us up to date information on where we could go to receive a yummy dinner that evening. 

Our ensuite room definitely had the "wow" factor. Our king size bed was very comfortable with fluffy pillows and duvet. 

We had all the amenties available in our room, hairdryer, toiletries, tea, coffee & biccys etc

The breakfast options on both mornings was of a huge selection and we were spoilt for choice. Glyn served us up a delicious freshly cooked fry up just as we liked it. 

Diane & Glyn have a good variety of dvd's available in the guest lounge, which we took advantage off on our 2nd night after a busy day walking around all of the christmas market stalls.

Overall Hawkins of Bath is a home from home and we didnt want to leave.

My wife and I have just returned from a visit to Bath where we chose to stay at Hawkins of Bath, primarily because of the consistently high ratings they have achieved here and elsewhere. I can happily echo the sentiments of the other reviewers. The building is beautiful, and the hosts, Diane and Glyn could not have been more helpful or friendly. The whole experience has a real "home from home" feel.
The room was large, spotless and in very good order as was the luxurious bathroom. There is a large and elegant  sitting room for  use by guests also.
The "Full English" breakfast, was well cooked, plentiful and clearly used premium products. The large pot of piping hot tea was welcomed too.
The customers private off road parking area is also very convenient.
Diane and Glyn were happy to provide useful advice and recommendations for our visit and we too, as others, were offered a lift into the City centre, (which is about a 20-25 minute walk, which can be through the park or along the river, so a nice thing to do)
On a return visit to the area, Hawkins of Bath would be our first choice without question.

Diane and Glyn were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great.  It was a quiet room with pleasant decor and comfortable beds. It was easy to get into the centre of Bath by bus or taxi.

If I could summarise all the reviews for the Hawkins of Bath I would, there is nothing more to say! So quite simply this B&B is fantastic. Great hosts in a great building that they have lovingly restored creating a  base that you can explore Bath. Yes, you can stay closer to the city center and pay more for a room without a window but why would you? 
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and were met on the doorstep by Diane and Glyn, a quick overview of facilities including the Bath discount card (25% off roman baths plus restaurants etc..) an offer of a lift into Bath and that was it...next time we saw our brilliant hosts was at breakfast...full English cooked to order, fruit, cereals, coffee and vegetarian alternatives. We could have sat there all morning talking to Diane and other guests as they create a lovely atmosphere.
The walk into Bath is great either by the river or down the main road admiring the beautiful buildings en-route. yes it's about 20mins but so what? there is a bus, there are taxis and both Diane and Glyn offered to drop us off on each day. The rooms are fab, lovely and clean and the bed was sooo comfy...we stayed for 3 nights and each day the room was cleaned.
Simply cannot fault this B&B and thank you, Diane and Glyn, for the lovely chocolates to celebrate our anniversary

The Warmth of Diane and Glyn's welcome, their friendliness and helpfulness, the comfort and quality of the accommodation and the excellence of the food must make Hawkins the best guest house ever. Many thanks, Wendy and Paul. 

We have to agree with all the other reviews on this place - it was just fabulous and I wish we could have stayed longer.  We were met by Diane and were given a fantastic welcome and introduction to the area.  The room was just the best - comfortable, spacious and immaculately presented.  After a great nights sleep, we had a beautiful breakfast (best black pudding i have ever had) and met Glyn.  They are just the best hosts, and ideally suited to welcoming guests and showing the best side of Bath.

Just the best..............

My family and I stayed for one night I wish it could have been longer. After dropping of the car Clive very kindly drove us into town. We had a really relaxing time here because of the owners friendliness and hospitality. Spotlessly clean comfortable beds tasty breakfast. What more can you ask would highly recommend.

My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights.  Glyn & Diane were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble.
Delicious breakfast, freshly cooked as you like it. There were cereals & yoghurt too.  We loved the fresh fruit salad chopped every morning by Glyn.
Spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated & furnished. 
Lovely short break.
Would definitely recommend.

We recently stayed at the Hawkins of bath for our bank holiday weekend away. The guest house was very easy to find with parking on site. On arrival we were greeted by Glyn and Diane, both such lovely people and made us feel really welcome. We stayed in the Lansdown room which was beautiful. Both Glyn and Diane were really helpful and even went out of their way to drop us into town. 

We highly recommended Hawkins of Bath. Room, breakfast and hospitality all fantastic. We will definitely be staying with you guys on many more occasions.

Fantastic stay and Hawkins of Bath

This is the best B&B we’ve ever stayed at. Glyn & Diane made us feel welcome the moment we arrived.
Our room and adjoining en-suite were large and comfortable. 
Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, and Diane always made sure we were well fed. Tea & coffee facilities in each bedroom and real milk is available, not that long life stuff. 
Transport is close by, we chose to walk 15 minutes to the hop on hop off bus.

We are very happy to recommend a stay with Glyn & Diane.
