Visiting family in the area and stayed for 1 night . Everything perfect , rooms clean very helpful staff who gave us a room on the ground floor for my elderly mum. Breakfast was great and had plenty of variety.  A very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend if in the area

Great price , great stay

We stopped here to go to a concert at the Anvil. Wish we’d taken taxi as I couldn’t find the access to the carpark , would have been extremely stressful if we hadn’t been with friends. The inn. was a decent enough place to stay  and the evening food in the beefeater next door was fine and they obliged with a quick turnaround. However the breakfast was lukewarm and the issuer was set for anemic toast and a second pass meant it singed. The orange juice was replaced by orange and pineapple squash. Not an acceptable change in my opinion 

Overnight stop

Getting a bit fed up with this hotel chain advertising rooms as family or twin then they put you in a double when you arrive. Stayed with my 15 year old son and told before arrival after phoning reception to check that it wouldn’t be a double bed as it says zip link double after booking and as per usual premier inn mess it up and it wasn’t two singles had to go back down to reception to get another room.
Just fed up with it ,why oh why can’t they just advertise a room correctly and allocate the room you paid for online to you when you arrive , just useless

Another bad experience


Clean comfortable hotel, friendly staff which was good value for money.

Great location at Basingstoke Leisure Park which as lots of activities on offer for all the family.

The local Museum had a SteamPunk convention which was great fun.

Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was perfectly situated for my work
The staff were very friendly and helpful 
The room was very clean and functional 
There was plenty of parking including disabled spaces
The restaurant was very nice

Excellent

Friendly staff and clean rooms. I stayed with my daughters in a family room. We booked our stay to go to the aquadrome and indoor skydiving. The location of the hotel was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The girls loved being treated to colouring sheets and sweets. We look forward to visiting again! 

Friendly and clean

Very little good to say. About Premier Inn Basingstoke on Friday 8th September 2023. Our stay was not up to your normal standards. We know it was a hot day, but the room we were placed in (206) was very hot sitting at 29 degrees C when we entered at 3pm. Even though a fan was provided, this was ineffective as it did not work very well. We asked at reception if there was another fan but was told there is only one fan for room. There was little air able to come through the window as it only open a little. Thus the temperature remained at 29 degrees through the night making very uncomfortable to sleep. By 7.30 am the room had cooled to 28 degrees so still very hot.

We have stayed here over the pasted few years. Through Covid there has been very good safty. Staff always pleasent, helpful. Nothing was any problem to them
Resturant next door was Brilliant. The food was execellent.

Exceptional and comfortable

This hotel is perfect if you go to carfest every year and don't fancy camping.
Lovely to wake up shower and have a fantastic breakfast before heading off for the day.
The staff and cleanliness are always good, There is also a leisure park opposite and supermarket with in walking distance.

carfest stay

Lovely hotel in a great location. A little dated but the rooms were comfortable and staff were excellent. Elena especially made our stay. She was so friendly and helpful checking us in. Giving us lots of advice and information. She made a big fuss of our 3 year old and gave him some little treats which really made his stay. Hotel is great location. We were visiting peppa pig World and wanted somewhere on the way home. The beefeater next door did great food and staff were lovely. It's within the leisure park so there's a Costa drive thru, aquadrome which has 3 great pools especially for children and Hollywood bowl. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely again if we are in the area. Thank you Elena for making our stay so memorable.
