I first stayed here in Jun 2013 and have returned every six months since. I am always met with a warm welcome from either Steve or Maren or now even Willow. Nothing is too much trouble. We always have a chat upon arrival and again when leaving. Breakfast is always a feast and anything you need is available - you certainly never leave hungry. The house itself and garden areas are simply amazing, which is even surrounded by its own moat!! The pub next door is just a 2 minute walk away and serve a lovely evening meal. I have always enjoyed an overnight stay and have already booked again for December which will be my 13th stay. I can’t write enough praise for either Steve or Maren and their fantastic house. You really need to check it out for yourself.
