Lovely Jenny  and couldn't fault her. She went out her wayj to make me and Steve welcomed. 

The room is as discribed. And is perfect for dropping off to sleep. I wasn't kept awake even though above pub. . 

Room; Only improvements I would say is a little desk could be handy or extra pillows in cupboard. However if I asked I'm sure she would have helped. Sink backfired sounds if my neighbour had water running. But I found it Emusjng. 

General. 
It's basic and does the purpose so I don't have complaints. 

Bathroom 
Shower and toilet where fine. I was in a shared one and I couldn't complain. Never had to wait for a wee or shower. Fresh towels where provided regular

her customers happiness was her priority. You pay for what you get it isn't 5^ on basis of swimming pool. Huge bed fluffy pillows. But for what you pay and what you get it is totally worth it and I'd stY again. Even if it's just to see Jenny. 

I parked on street and didn't bother with car park. 

Wedding party 

We stayed here a few weeks ago because a band we  wanted to see was playing on the Saturday. You get what you pay for, facilities basic but clean & tidy. One side of hotel very noisy  until late at night but the other side is dead quite so ask for what you want when you book. The staff are great, Hayley is lot's of fun & made my party very at home. There  is a Shift manager I think her name was Claire also very friendly &  helpful. In short £60 a night for 2 people B&B is a bargain.

Crazy fun hotel

If I was to stay here again then I'd need to book 2 rooms, 1 for me and 1 for the man holding the gun to my head!

Cold room with a broken heater in it, only 2 plug sockets 1 of which was needed for the TV the other for the kettle. The "shared" bathroom had a sliding door which didn't fully close meaning you did not get any privacy in the bath nor would you really want to use it before the commute back to your room along the dark and filthy corridor. The dead spider in the room was a nice indication how often rooms are cleaned.

The money you save on the room here is not worth the stress of a cold room with rotting window frames and ZERO facilities needed for an overnight stay. I've stayed at the EasyHotel and at least they let you know what you're in for. The room here feels like a prison cell in a run down backstreet boozer. The Travelodge is a palace by comparison

Better off buying a train ticket and sleeping at the station

This beautiful building, centuries old!! Needs some desperate TLC. 
Throughout. The pub could be stunning!! Needs someone to see its potential but it needs a lot of monies spending on it. 
On arrival we were told our room.. a very steep staircase took us upstairs...The room we were allocated smelt of urine/feet!! We noticed later we were on top of the toilets!!
Downstairs was a pub.. at weekends it does have live music I am positive this would be noisy..
The room had a sixty feel to it! Or older.. not attractive old. By that I mean the old wardrobe, old table and a metal bed that was incredibly noisy. It was clean but felt dirty. Old paint peeling.. The toilet/shower room was basic, old and tired! There was nothing attractive about the room or hotel. 
The barman was nice, the breakfast was hot and plenty. The waitress helpful. 
Would I go again ? No... rather pay more and have a better outlook! 

It could be good!

Stayed as close to euro star in Ashford.
But hard to believe how bad it is. central light not working, Door jammed to room had to lift the. fire escape hinge on door out the way everytime, and put shoulder to door to get in, no headboard, but clean linen and towels. 
BUT WORST STILL Engine pump below window roared all night. not conducive to sleep.

stay away

When you arrive you find yourself in front of a gloomy and dark hallway, to the right of that hallway is the brewery (not a bar, a pub) with guests outside the hotel and not all of them have a reassuring mine. Not clean at all: the waitress leads you to your room by passing through a few doors (because there is no elevator) and a maze-like hallway, the stairs leading to the room are steep, poorly maintained and are part of the escape escape. We wander through unlit hallways. For a very poorly ventilated room, the escape to cool down is located in the bathroom, whether to wash their hands or toothlessly, and the hallway looks like a maze, the stairs leading to the hotel are steep, poorly maintained and are part of the escape escape escape. Vetousness

Hotel in the centre of town. Close to shops, train station and bus station. Very welcomed, right price breakfast included, simple room but with all the amenities, good bedding and very clean. Our car was delivered to a garage. The typical English breakfast delighted us. The restaurant served us good dishes. On Friday and Saturday no need to move a group comes to play in a safe atmosphere in the evening.

Have a nice stay.

Small price, nickel room, British breakfast included, private parking, good music and super nice atmosphere and in the city centre. Despite our very modest knowledge of the English language we managed to have a very good evening thanks to the patience of the hotel team.

It's a very good place to stay.

The price is very right for the place, clean and friendly. Old building typical of the corner, the town of Ashford as it is not much interest. We had a very pleasant room and English breakfast was included in the price. We also booked without paying in advance, just by sending a request for a return by email via the hotel's website.
