Always have such a lovely stay here, so cosy and warm. The beds are really comfortable, the whole place is super clean. It’s in a lovely setting with a great pub on the door step. Looking forward to staying again, friends also really enjoyed their stay!

We arrived a few hours too early but wanted to get parked up before the nearest car park got too busy. The parking was only 2 minutes away and we got a handy 3 day pass which we could use in any car park in and around the area. 

We went for a look to see The White House and met Nick. He said the room was ready and let us in. He explained where everything was. 
Room 1 was everything we expected it to be. It was of a high spec with everything you really need for a luxury 2 nights away. 
The bed was lovely, very comfortable and small sofa a delight to sit on. The TV was good and could rotate when watching from the bed. The control didn’t work and we noticed a battery was taken out. I called and within minutes Grant brought the extra battery.  
The fridge was handy for keeping the fizz cool too :-)
Now the bathroom - it was fabulous! The spa bath was so good to wind down and enjoy the jets. 
The Bath House products they have are amazing and are sold in the shop around the corner. Pop in and see Linda and Leah who will explain all about these fabulous products.  It’s one of the best if not the best hand creams I’ve ever tried. Well done Nick and Grant for placing these products in your rooms. Small businesses supporting one another 😍

The hotel is located in a great location and would highly recommend Porto for food. We’ve been there twice now and it doesn’t disappoint. There are however restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Please try this little gem, it really is exceptional accommodation and you will be well looked after by the lovely Grant and Nick. Thank you x

An absolutely stunning place to stay. The Den is impeccably clean and finished to a very high standard. This is our second time staying here and it is our all time favourite. The hot tub is great and the bedroom is stunning. Highly recommend a stay here

The room is tastefully decorated, spacious and had all the amenities you could need. 
The location is fantastic and everything is on your doorstep and within waking distance. 
Great emails prior to stay to recommend places to eat and things to do.

We stayed in Room 10 which was just unreal! It was a surprise for my partners birthday and she absolutely fell in love with the room. I’d booked us a penthouse suite in Manchester last year, so I had set the bar high, luckily she was over the moon. The raw iron bath was lush and got 3 used, the decor and spacing is amazing finished perfectly with the old oak beams
On the celing, The place couldn’t have been better located either. Set back off the Main Street so quiet, but 2 mins walk to the liveliness of the bars and restaurants. Will definitely be staying here again. 10/10 
If I was to be forced to say somet thing that could be improved upon, it would be that having some bath soak or salts would’ve been great and the option of a later checkout (just cos we loved it so much we weren’t ready to leave but understand it may have been booked for later that day)

Everything exactly as it should be. Communication from initial booking of the room was clear and precise, the room itself had everything you required, all to a high standard. The location was perfect, local pubs and restaurants were within a minutes walk.

Just returned home from a fantastic trip to the Lakes. This place is exceptional !!! Everything is done to a high quality from the pre contact and information to the beautiful apartments. The bath and showers were delightful as was the comfy bed. Well done team we will be back

What an amazing little place right in the heart of Windermere. Lovely clean accommodation, comfy bed, rooms decorated to a high standard. The access instructions are really clear. Everything you need with a kettle and Fridge. Rayrigg car park less than 5 mins walk to leave your car. We will definitely back.

Amazing location! 2 minute walk directly to the lake. Loads of bars, pubs & restaurants within walking distance. 
We stayed in room 2. Extremely clean & tidy. Gorgeous room perfect for us. Terrace was lovely for a morning coffee. 
Parking is not onsite & you have to pay for 3 days if only staying the night but we could use it in other car parks so drove around the lakes over the 2 days. 
Will definitely be back regularly, loved it.
The Lake Garden Bar comes highly recommended; the food is incredible.

Amazing Stay

We stayin the 1 bed house called the Den, Very nice space to stay in a great location our only comment would be for a bigger awning over the hot tub for when its raining, as its not quite big enough to stop the rain water going into hot tub so we decided not to use it when raining, which let it down diluring the stay considering we had rain for most of our 3 days stay, would recommend and stay again

Just enjoyed a fabulous stay in room 12. Decor is stunning and the bed was so comfortable! It all felt super luxurious! Location was central but not noisy and the communication throughout was great. Love the attention to detail and little touches were appreciated, we even had a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would love to return sometime.

My wife and I have returned from an amazing stay at this absolute hidden Gem in Windermere.... We'd normally stay in the Macdonald fro Belsfield but booked the White House last minute on a whim and we'll absolutely be back.

The communication from the owners/managers was PERFECT.  From access, to recommendations of dining etc etc.  

The room was BEAUTIFUL literally five star, amazing wet rooms, tasteful decor, comfortable bed, Netflix etc etc... 

We had horrific weather but this cosy stay was perfect.

We'll be back again and again thank you

Exceeded every expectation

Wonderful stay in room 6! We were there for 3 nights with our young daughter to celebrate my partners birthday, which also turned into a surprise proposal! A beautiful hotel in the perfect location, right in the middle of the shops/restaurants/pubs and a minutes walk from the lake! A special stay, we will be back!

I would highly recommend the White House to anybody! It was mine and my boyfriends first birthday together and the White House made us feel right at home. When I arrived there was balloons on the bed, two towels shaped as doves, rose petals and a bottle of Prosecco. Me and my boyfriend was absolutely delighted and made our stay even more perfect. The location is right in the centre of Bowness and is perfect to walk anywhere in Windermere. I would definitely stay here at the White House again and the owners were amazing at keeping in touch.
