How a B&B should be run, excellent hosts in Nori and JP, very helpful in suggesting sight seeing routes.Very good breakfast choices, comfy bed.We could not have asked for better hosts!

Spoiler alert, I’ve NEVER written a TripAdvisor review before but our experience at Vandees thoroughly deserves a five star review  and acknowledgement for those people looking to stay in a lovely boutique B&B with some fabulous hosts. 
Our stay with Noreen and Jean-Paul at Vandees was absolutely exceptional. They are quite the nicest hosts that I’ve ever stayed with: friendly, accommodating and just lovely people. There was nothing that was too much bother for them and they did it with such happiness and ease. For example I am gluten-free and I was bowled-over at the effort that Noreen had taken to ensure I had the highest quality gluten-free bread, cereal and naughty biscuits in the room! The food was amazing; a home-cooked and beautifully sourced breakfast which was cooked to order and served in such comfortable and welcoming environment. The rooms were very generous and decorated to a very high standard with such comfortable beds. A lovely downstairs lounge meant that my family could sit down and share a glass of wine together before going to bed (courtesy of John Paul and Noreen again). 
Honestly, this is not A.I. writing a gushing review- this is real and honest and completely deserves 5 stars. Thank you.

Me my husband and our friends Stayed here as my friends wedding was nearby and what can I say this B&B was stunning from how beautiful it was, place is super clean,the hosts are so lovely and welcoming, beds were great nice and comfy, and that breakfast we all had was unreal even had homemade soda bread yummy, we all loved every min staying here we will be back, Jean even ran us to the wedding venue and back super kind nothing was any trouble, thank you for making our stay so nice,Jamie and Mark 

When it comes to hospitality Noreen and JP have it all. Such a warm welcome and picked us up from our wedding just topped it off. Breakfast and Room were incredible. All the small details and nice touches were there. The most beautiful house I’ve ever set foot in. I will 20000% be back, just trying to think of an excuse to come back down. Noreen’s Nettle Tea is out of this world. Can’t say enough about this place, will be passing on to all friends and family. 

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and it was our first visit, but I hope we are able in the future to revisit. The hosts, Noreen & JP were enthusiastic and generous hosts and nothing was too much trouble eg giving us lifts to & from restaurants. The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on, hence the great sleeps both of us experienced. The breakfasts were sumptuous, with very fresh and homemade ingredients in abundance. There was a comfy chill out room. Decor was stunning with flagstones with underfloor heating throughout. Amazing plasterwork. Lovely grounds, weather permitting. With horses in local fields and plenty of wildlife. I can’t speak highly enough of this venue and the hosts. Do yourself a favour and book as soon as you can.

The most comfortable bed in the loveliest property. The house had a lovely Balearic vibe to it. The hosts Noreen and JP couldn't have been more welcoming.
It was in a beautiful location and we will definitely be back.

A beautiful B&B owned by a beautiful couple. Once you meet Noreen & JP you won't want to leave....we didn't! The house is fabulous, our bedroom was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. Everyone should definitely pay this little gem a visit!!!

We stayed with Noreen and Jean- Paul for a night as myself and my boyfriend where up for a competition in Portmore Equestrian Centre. The Equestrian Centre was only 10 minutes away from this location so it was ideal for us. 

Noreen and Jean -Paul were excellent hosts so friendly and welcoming. They booked us dinner in a local restaurant  which was lovely as we didn't know the area. When we came back from dinner they  offered us a glass of wine and we sat down with both of  them and had a lovely chat before bed.

Noreen's Ulster Fry the next morning was delicious. 

I highly recommend this BnB to everyone.

Both Noreen and Jean-Paul were so friendly and welcoming and more than happy to share their expert local knowledge and handy tips for our sightseeing. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfasts were delicious. Staying at The Vandees felt like staying with family friends and we will definitely be back!

Welcome stay in beautiful Northern Ireland

Where do I begin?? Whenever we travel, I look for quaint, creative, beautiful, peaceful, rural settings and warm, personable, thoughtful, interesting, kind, positive people.  Vandees offers all that and much more…
Both JP and Noreen are multi-talented, easy conversationalists. 
Noreen is the bubbly creator, and whimsical designer of function and beauty in their amazing home, using all kinds of objects, fabrics and her own art work from their world travels. (You’ll never guess what the unique entry light is made of!)
She is also a serious gardener, having discovered the significant benefits of nettles and using them to make her own products. 
Jean Paul, a former star soccer player is also an actor and hobbyist tour guide- knowledgeable about a variety of cultural, historical and political topics. (He also does a great job serving Noreen’s delicious full Irish breakfasts with his own particular flair!) 
We felt at home with them immediately and enjoyed our stay immensely!  If I could give 10 stars, I surely would!

Truly one-of-a-kind treasure!

What a fantastic stay at the Vandees. This was one of the best places we ever stayed. We were greated immediately as friends much more than guests and left feeling sorry we already had to go but in the absolute certainty we will be back. Noreen and JP are the most lovely people. The house and surroundings is just perfect and beautiful, the room spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was copious and lovely. We just had the best stay imaginable at the Vandees, very warmly recommended.

A magical stay

We spent three unforgettable days at Vandees. Noreen an Jean Paul were extremely nice and made everything to make us feel like at home and not just guest. Breakfast is amazing and the room is incredibly big and comfortable. We had on the last day a problem with our car and they were very nice and Jean Paul help us with the assistance. Don’t miss it if you are travelling in Northern Ireland!

The Vandees B&B is a home away from home. Noreen & JP are the most welcoming down to earth couple, they really make you feel at home. Their home is stunning and is in such a peaceful area. Our room was comfy and clean with tea/coffee,tv and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious a selection of cereal, fruit, juice then a full Irish. We got some homemade carrot cake to take home and nettle tea made by Noreen ☕️Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Hope to stay again in the future Bob & Jen
