Ideal budget hotel in a great city centre location.The receptionist was friendly, helpful and even allowed us to avail of a late check out.Rooms have everything you could need and cannot be faulted for the price.

Great wee central hotel, comfy and clean single room

Good central hotel,lift not working,no glasses in room,no plug in bath,no terrestrial TV,no clue how to work TV,it's all apps but what have the Romans ever done for us

We had to walk quite a way with our luggage the car park we used was on chapel street NCP and only £5.50 over night.  We reduced our luggage so we didn’t have much to carry.  Staff were very helpful and it was lovely to receive a telephone call prior and after to check if all was well.  A very old building unfortunately the lift wasn’t working so we had a few floors to climb but for what we paid it was excellent and would use again.

Booked last minute for a meeting a had an excellent stay and very cheap. I think this hotel must have just be decorated as its new carpets etc throughout.

The first night it was a little noisy, but, it is in the city centre, the response from the manager and staff of the hotel was excellent, they even offered a room upgrade, and they have been so courteous and friendly for the rest of my stay. For the cost of this hotel it is great value for anyone coming for business or just to visit Aberdeen.

The staff were lovely and polite, put us in a room on the first floor as the lifts weren’t working and were available via text message when we needed them. The room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. It is near a busy street so there was a lot of noise from outside but I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me. It’s definitely worth the price for a few nights in the city when travelling on a tight budget.

I enjoyed my courtesy Hotels.com reward night stay. I am familiar with Aberdeen so knew the good location for visitors or those seeking a break or night out. My single room on the 2nd floor was very clean, modern and had a "new" feel. My room did not have a window but that was not a problem for me. Maybe a benefit for noise from late night revelers in the centre of Aberdeen.I think the old granite building made some indoor noise worse. Noise from fellow guests (squeaky floor boards, TV and chatting noise) but that ceased around midnight. There was well stocked tea & coffee making facilities and a modern Freeview flat-screen TV. The free wi-fi worked well.I had read some negative reviews about cold showers. I needed to shower before going out for supper. However, after waiting several minutes for a warm supply, I had to take a cold shower. Eventually the water became warm. So be warned!

Decent Aberdeen city centre room

Not far from the Railway station and easier to find than anticipated. On the down side, noise from people and especially cars on Friday night was horrific. Saturday night wasn't anywhere near as bad, surprisingly. Room I had was spacious.  If you are a Decaf person, bring your own as they don't have that available.

Lovely hotel and great staff. Good central location. I have stayed here several times and overall reallyLike the hotel. However had a double room but with no window. I would not stay in a room with no window again as no light or fresh air, not as pleasant as other rooms. Also disappointed with the bathroom in room 212, not anywhere near as nice as previous rooms I have stayed in at the hotel.

Check-in was slow.  Room was basic but clean. Awakened early by seagulls outside.  Even though it was a Tuesday night there was lots of noise from the street after midnight. Our room was on the fourth floor and we could still hear the shouting from the street.  This hotel was central and ideal for a short stay if going to catch an early train or bus or if you were out with friends partying.

Central and clean

The hotel was very central which made it easy to get to before and, more importantly, after our night out. A bit disappointed on arrival when I was asked to pay the bill despite having already paid the full amount through Expedia which was £10 more.We’ve stayed at the Citi Hotel twice before so we knew what to expect. The room was clean; the shower was excellent and the bed was very comfy - although I only spent a couple of hours in it! Check out was at 11am so that gave me enough time to sort myself out.Overall, for the amount paid for the quadruple room (£60 total), I was happy with my stay. We’ll almost certainly stay at the Citi Hotel the next time we have a big night out.

All key aspects of my stay were covered well,  In particular this was excellent value for money in the centre of Aberdeen. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, TV a good size, shower worked. The only minor negative was that the lock on the door didn't seem very secure. Happy to recommend this hotel.

For the price, this was a good find. We stayed on a Friday night. Its ideal if you intend to be out late and need somewhere to crash. Don't expect to get much sleep before 3am on a Friday/Saturday though as the 2 or 3 nightclubs directly outside make an absolute racket. Room was a quirky but staff were great and i would stay again, id maybe try and request a room that wasnt directly oppsite the clubs.
