Boutique Living - Dubai Marina Heights

My wife and I stayed at the Marina Hotel Apartments for 8 days for my 60th birthday. At first we booked into a regular hotel but with more research we found this great place to stay right on the Dubai Marina and across the road from the Metro- which was unbelievably convenient. The apartment was huge, beautiful, fully furnished and fitted out and very clean- it was serviced every day and was spotless. After staying at an hotel apartment, one cannot go back to a small hotel room ( a little bit more in price but hugely well worth it). The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist. The views were very special and the hotel was a short elevator ride to access the marina directly. The only disappointment was that there was no separate shower but rather a hand held shower connected to the bath. I think today a lot more people use showers and the hotel should consider installing proper showers. We also did not have a balcony which I think I would have enjoyed using especially at night to enjoy the lights
