It was a first time visit for me and I must admit that it was worthy it. Customer care from the employees was so nice right from the gate man to the waitresses. I love good food and it's what I liked the most. Am coming back again next year for that. Best service forever.

There is so much to appreciate about this spot...I am extremely pleased with the level of service right from the security at the gate to the ambiance at the restaurant. Great food, great music (the live band on Wednesdays is awesome), the swimming pool is a beauty, perfect to use in the earlier hours since it gets popular later in the afty. Definitely a 10/10 wonderful hangout for family, friends, even a solo visit.

Gorilla Mist Camp is a really nice place. Very comfortable, nice, good staff and tasty food. I really enjoyed staying here. It is really important to stay in a place like this after a difficult gorilla hike. The internet and hot water are available. The evenings get cold sometimes and the staff even puts a hot water bottle to warm up the bed, which I really liked. I highly recommend the place.

This is where beauty meets comfort. This lodge is high up in the mountains. The view is spectacular. The cabins are pleasing to the eyes and extremely comfortable. At night they turn out your bed, put a hot water bottle to warm it and spread the mosquito net. Dinner is delicious and drinks always available.

We had such an amazing stay. The staff was very helpful and kind, they made sure that we had all we needed, like warm water in the shower, and hotwaterbottle in the bed. They even washed our shoes after our gorilla trip 😃 The food was good. The views where amazing. We would be happy to stay there again.

My Stay at Gorilla mist camp was so meticulous where everything was good we enjoyed the views of the forest 🌲with good compound, the place is noisy free and cool for relaxing, they have an amazing stuff that took care of us above all their food was so delicious and the rooms where so comfortable

Very nice, well-maintained accommodation very close to the Ruhija Sector entrance gate. Clean rooms, nice staff, good food, good price/performance ratio. I would recommend this accommodation at any time.

One of our favorites of the 8 mid range safari lodges we stayed at in Kenya and Uganda. Incredible attention to details and you can tell the owner and staff care.  Rooms are clean and comfortable and everything works.  Flowers on the bed and hot water bottles when they turn down the beds.  Water was not an issue (it looked clean, but they  recommend not brushing with it).  There is power in the rooms after 7pm (for charging only - not enough for hair dryers or straighteners).  Very quaint lodge with outstanding views.  Rooms have outdoor porches with comfy chairs.  Good selection and quality of food.  Highly recommend.

Great stay at Gorilla Mist

The gorilla mist camp is very nice located, near Ruhija village and near a very nice school, we visited. If ever you have the chance, they are happy to receive you! The rooms are simpel but clean, made with love. We had wonderful flowers on the beds, really enjoyed it. In the evening we had a wonderful suprise: bed bottles in the bed who kept us warm all over the night! Thank you very much! The staff is friendly and helpful. They even cleaced all our shoes as nice, we thought they are new, after the Gorilla Tracking! The food is ok, nothing special. Perhaps the only point, that was a little bit disappointing.

We stayed here for one night during our 1st African safari, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. People here were extremely warm with us. They decorated our room and made us close our eyes before revealing it. How sweet!! Although the room was somewhat small compared to what we had seen before, it was comfortable and clean. The view from our private balcony was amazing!!

Amazing views

A lodge with the lots of extras. For those who have travelled in Africa you know the rarity of a hot shower, with pressure and a large shower head.  You will find it here... Along with  hot water bottle placed in your bed while you are eating a delicious 4 course dinner!
I have food sensitivities that were managed beautifully.
And you can get your African tea or coffee delivered to your room as your wake up call.. a really lovely way to start the day before you head to a hearty breakfast (with real bacon). 
The staff are kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Don't let the drive up put you off.
