This is a very quiet restaurant with good working WiFi and most of all the best Ethiopian food. The Ethiopian mixed dish is my favorite dish. There is enough parking space and the staff if very friendly. I highly recommend it if you love Ethiopian dishes. I would be coming here every weekend if I was leaving in kampala.

Friendly staff, amazing breakfast and clean rooms with warm water, what else do you need? A very convenient location and would definitely stay here again. I was recommended this place and will recommend it to others.

Good hotel to stay and room prices are ok. Location are very good. Near are Acasia Mall where find everything you need. Surround has many other restsurant etc. Hotel staff are very nice and helpfull. Rooms has a big bed, mosquito net, fan, wifi and hot shower. Hotel is old but rooms are clean and beds nice. Breakfast is good.

This hotel, directly across the street from the Acacia Shopping Mall, turned out to be better than expected.  The location is very convenient for shopping, restaurants and bars.  It's also withing walking distance (10-15 min) of the National Museum.  The mall across the street has some restaurants and a food court on the top floor.  There's also a movie theater in the mall.  Quite nice.

The hotel room and bed were big (we stayed in K20) and fairly clean.  No AC, but they did provide a fan.  The WiFi kinda worked (slow, as usual) and there was a simple breakfast provided.  Good value if you want a basic hotel in a good location.

I stayed with my son for a combined work/vacation trip. The staff is very, very friendly and always helpful. Standard is simple, but the place is very clean. The traffic is not disturbing though just outside the wall. Very close to Acacia mall where you find everything needed. 
The wifi was not excellent but still, it was available.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Uganda, and I will surely stay here again.

Good Value and Great Location for a 2 Star Hotel

This is a relatively cheap accommodation option in central Kampala, right opposite the Acacia Mall and well-placed for taxis etc. The staff were universally friendly and helpful, but sadly my stay was tarnished by a poor room. It was on the ground floor with no outside window or natural light (a permanently curtained window looked only on to a corridor) and was only just big enough for the two double beds placed in it. It was also right next to the Ethiopian restaurant - which produced wonderful food and exotic aromas when I was hungry, but I wasn't pleased to have to contend with cooking smells all through the night. I guess that there must be other rooms with real windows on the upper floors and further from the restaurant, but apparently they were all taken when I stayed. The breakfast was alright - nothing special - but I preferred to cross the road to Cafe Javas which was far superior.

Good location but room was not very pleasant

I was in transit, and needed a cheap and quiet hotel to spend the night, and made a reservation through Booking.com.  The hotel is located on Kira Rd, behind the Acai Mall in Kololo which is on a major street where you can find taxis and bodas travelling up and down throughout the day.  When I got there the receptionist had no problem with finding my booking, and I paid with cash because they do not accept credit cards.  I had booked a single room which was clean with a bathroom and television.  The bed was so comfortable, and hotel very quiet.  I ordered a beer from the bar, and found out 
they specialize in Ethiopian food which smelled so good.  The next morning I had breakfast which consisted of an omelette, fresh fruit, toast without butter, juice which 
complimentary.  Their wi-fi is free and excellent, and from now on I will be staying there anytime I come to Kampala which is about once a month.
