While the resort doesn't have a beach or any affiliation with other resorts with beaches, it has a terrific view of the bay and ships.  It's a big resort on a hill, so be prepared to walk up stairs to the pool, bar, restaurant.  Bar has entertainment most nights.

From check in to check out, my stay was amazing!! Will be returning! The front dest was very helpful and recommended some nice places to visit. Also the food, pool side and location of property was nice. I was able to get to and from airport within 10 minutes which was a plus for my trip.

Very beautiful and unique place to stay since it is up the mountain! The actual resort itself had great amenities like a pool, hot tub, pool bar, and bar/restaurant with decent food. On top of that, the staff was very helpful with our check-in/check-out process as well as calling taxis and giving us advice on places to go around the area. Only thing is that since it is up the mountain it’s a little hard to go anywhere without a taxi. But had an overall good experience here!

Great resort in Charlotte Amalie

My first trip to the Virgin Islands. I am 71 but healthy. Bluebeard's is centrally located in the middle of the island on the main harbor. it is on a small hilltop on ten acres. there is lots of room to walk around on the property and to lounge around the lobby area inside and out. Restaurant is good 
, local draft beer.. The room kept the humidity away.

I stayed recently while on winter holiday. I found the staff always prepared to help you. Although was a little disappointed there was no live music for our Wednesday night stay. But the band has time off as well. I was pleased with the food and drinks served. Bonus on having a little store right there at the hotel for some little odds and ends. The front desk and bell hops are always willing to call you a cab. The property itself is a little older. Plus the hot tub is more of a warm tub. Otherwise I would have given this place 5 stars across the board.

The location is great. We had a balcony, washing and drying machine, kitchen, etc. There is a hotel restaurant and bar and it was fun watching people sing karaoke. You must drive or get cabs everyday if you are staying at this hotel though. It’s high up on a hill. Great stay though.

It is local the staffs are very friendly and respectful

We had view of the pier where the cruise ships doc. We liked the small kitchen and mini fridge. They had everything needed to cook with from pans, utensils, cutting board to coffee maker. We cooked breakfast and lunch several times. We would stay there again.

The property is very conveniently located around major attractions, shopping as well as dining options. The views from the property are some of the best you could experience on the island. Spacious, clean, upgraded rooms made sure we had a comfortable stay. The little kitchenette came in very handy in preparing food for little children in our group. There is an in-house restaurant and a convenience store for day today needs. Staff is polite and helpful. Spacious pool and jacuzzi are with a wonderful view of the bay. Everything about this property is family friendly and we’ll definitely stay again and recommend this property.
