Pamukkale is a place where day visitors just fly through to go to the travertines and Hierapolis - the main reason why you will come here. But staying in the town for two nights afforded us the opportunity to experience the town once the mad rush is gone. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. This family-run pension is where the heart still beats. It is honest and good and affordable. Yes, it feels like you are somewhere in the 70's, but what more do you need. Hussain is a marvel. WOW. He is ready to assist with everything and more. Particularly thankful for the drive up to Hierapolis and the directions on how to come back using the bottom gate.
