Our family recently returned from a stay at the Orca World Hotel, and I can honestly say it was one of the best holiday experiences we’ve had. It really is the perfect place for families – offering comfort, cleanliness, and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere throughout the whole complex. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how well kept and spotless the entire hotel is. The grounds are immaculate, the communal areas are tidy, and there’s a real sense that the staff take great pride in maintaining the place. We stayed in a three-room apartment which was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Each room was equipped with air conditioning – which was an absolute blessing during the heatwave. It made such a difference to come back to a cool, calm space after being out in the sun. The hotel has two outdoor pools as well as an indoor one. Both outdoor pools were beautifully maintained and inviting. One of them was very deep – so deep in fact that it wasn’t possible to touch the bottom – but the water was crystal clear and a great option for confident swimmers. The indoor pool, on the other hand, was extremely cold. It would have been nice if it had been slightly warmer or if there had been an option to move between the indoor and outdoor pools more easily. Like many resorts, sun loungers did get “reserved” with towels, which could be frustrating at times. It would be helpful if staff were able to remove towels after an hour or so of no use, as this would free up space for other guests. When it came to dining, we were pleasantly surprised. While some reviews mentioned that the food could be repetitive, we found there was a great variety. The salad selection in particular was always fresh and delicious, and there was enough choice to keep everyone in the family happy. The entertainment was another highlight. The programme was fun and engaging, but the Turkish dancing night stood out as a truly memorable experience. We loved being encouraged to get involved – it made the evening even more special. One of the best aspects of Orca World Hotel was the staff. Every single person we met, from the leadership team to the gardeners, was polite, friendly, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our cleaner, in particular, deserves special mention – she was kind, helpful, and always ready to assist us whenever we needed it. The only small downside of our trip was when we booked a Turkish bath and massage. While the treatment itself was absolutely wonderful, we later discovered that other guests had negotiated the same package for £15 less per person. That meant we ended up paying £75 more than necessary. It didn’t spoil our holiday by any means, but it was a little disappointing. Overall, though, we had a fantastic time at Orca World Hotel. The cleanliness, comfort, facilities, entertainment, and outstanding staff all made it a memorable holiday. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable break.
