Ata Lagoon Beach Hotel

Arrived last few days in June for a weeks holiday with my grandma. First time staying here, it was recommended by my parents who had stayed here before. What can I say, the hotel is lovely and so are the family that run it. Arrived late Thursday night and checked in by a lovely lady named Salin, we had a ground floor room as my grandma cannot manage steps to well, the room was really nice, not too big but served its purpose for the week. Our first day there, my grandma fell in the room, the daughter rang for a Doctor and ambulance, and she was taken to hospital for stitches. The staff at the hotel were all wonderful, they couldn't do enough for us, everyday asked how grandma was and checked that she was feeling well, treated her like part of the family. After all the drama on the first day we really enjoyed the stay and holiday. No problem getting a sunbed in a morning the pool area and surrounding grounds kept lovely and clean. Breakfast was nice, but you could order from the menu if needed. Ate in the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and food was lovely at a reasonable price. We went to the BBQ night and really enjoyed the whole evening, food, entertainment and making new friends, would recommend the evening. Air con is £60 which was very much needed and a fridge is £35. The hotel is roughly a 5 to 10 minute walk to the main strip. All in all a very good stay here, would recommend. All staff are friendly, lovely and cannot do enough for you.
