Kivilcim Hotel

My friend and I booked this hotel for a 4 night last minute quick break, then read some awful reviews about it, which we were a bit worried about. But I have to say, we didn't find anything wrong with this hotel at all. I've stayed in other 3* hotels and this was no different. The rooms & hotel were clean. The food was great. Staff friendly & attentive. Loved it here and would definitely come back! Now, as for room cleaning: you have to put the 'clean my room' card on the door knob outside the room. We did on 3rd morning, but it blew off, so the room wasn't done. We were out all day so didnt realise until coming back, by which time we fobbed it off. I'm sure if we'd have requested a room clean at reception, they would have arranged it. We were leaving the next day so didnt bother again. Its a small, family run hotel and we had no complaints about the food - they cater for all tastes and nationalities. The pool & bar area is where we made lots of friends and everyone was very friendly. Most other tourists we met have been returning to this same hotel for years! The pool really warms up quickly so was easy to get in to! We had to pay €5/day for aircon - and believe me you need it. One-off €2.50 for wifi password - but works mainly ground floor area (at least not on 4th floor!). Its very close to the beach, within easy walking distance. No Name sports bar/fun pub/restsurant is literally opposite and provide fun & entertainment every day/night. Marmaris Marina is just down the road. We booked Jeep Safari & Turtle Beach tours and they did not disappoint. All-in-all great holiday and great hotel!
