Recently visited the hotel as a large group of 23 (6 families) with kids from 15-20. The hotel was excellent, staff incredibly friendly & helpful & facilities as advertised. Infact we couldn’t fault anything in the hotel & the food was delicious & varied. The package included 1 meal in the Al a carte & wow what a beautiful restaurant. The TUI staff Lesley and Ruth were exceptional, a real credit to TUI. We booked a couple of excursions & because of our number, these were done privately. The jeeps & water fight to the waterfall was fun because of our size group. Not so sure it would have been fun with strangers! Jesus beach was a waste of time & disappointing - I wouldn’t bother. We charted a private boat from Ricky water sports outside the hotel. He was super helpful, he kids also did the flyfish with him (20e) each & he gave them a few paddle boards for free. 3 of the group also organised scuba diving with Ricky & had a great time. The beach was disappointing but it’s the whole coastline, however the beach bar was lovely. I run & really enjoyed morning runs on the pedestrian walkway beachfront. It’s +8k & lovely with the mountains. The hotel gym is well equipped. I didn’t go into the spa but it looked lovely. We also went out a couple of nights to bars on the beachfront & that was fun. EVERY bar does 2for1 cocktails so best to plan sharing. Oh & for the height of the season, we always found sunbeds nearish each other. The staff do not allow towels before 9am unless you’re on it.
