Alkan Hotel

My partner & I spent 10 nights here in July 2025. It was our first time in Turkey & we had the most fantastic holiday. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect; bars, restaurants, shops and a pharmacy right outside & the beachfront is only a few minutes' walk away. The staff here were all so lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Would like to give a special mention to Nuri the pool barman, the most pleasant soul who makes a banging iced latte. He assisted with some first aid for my mosquito bites (who knew sugar relieves itching and inflammation??), recommended some super nice restaurants and always made sure we had a lilo for the pool! The hotel and pool were always clean, with the cleaners seeing to our room every day. Breakfast was decent, not 5* obviously but you get what you pay for, we managed to put together a relatively balanced breakfast every morning. We were also pleasantly surprised that the air con was free. The only negative I'd mention is that we arrived late at night and there was nobody to check us in, the phone number online doesn't work. We were fortunate to meet other guests who were able to contact the receptionist and help us check in. From there on we had the best time and would really recommend the Alkan.
