I will start off with the good things,  which should be quite brief.
The location is excellent for food , beach, and shopping.
The room cleaners were polite, friendly and efficient.
And now I move on to the less pleasant aspects.
To be fair, I arrived about 4:00 in the morning. However I still think I should have had more in the way of an introduction to the amenities. Nothing was said to me about the location of the swimming pool, the availability of food and drink in that area, or the availability of a safe in my room.
Several sockets did not function and the electricity kept turning itself off at the most inconvenient moments.
I complained early about the lack of operational lights on my balcony and nothing was done about that.
2 or 3 days the water cut off overnight and I was unable to flush the toilet.
The Wi-Fi continually cut out in the middle of me attempting to watch something.
I ate at their Garden restaurant and I think that my lamb shish was made from the hide of a lamb having been treated as leather. The music in the restaurant also varied widely in character and some of it was intolerable.
Several of the steps inside the room and in the hotel in general were near invisible and thus very treacherous.
They were pleasant enough at reception but did not address any of these issues when I brought them up.
There is no way on this planet that this is a three-star hotel!

it was good and friendly hotel.we checked in  night they served sprits and coffees.room was cleaned,breakfast is very rich for a reduction hotel.but best choice is location.the hotel is heart of city.we will be back

The aircondition kept so bad noise that it was impossible to use.Toilet bin was leaking all the time. Shower was horrible, and dirty

First and last stay at Almena

Nothing. Stay clear. Rude staff. Dirty rooms. Absolute crap

Absolutely disgusting. doors and windows didn't lock, carpets were stained black, the aircon wasnt working and after many complaints still was not sorted at all so every night was hot, we also had around 6 powercuts, the food we ended up eating out as it was olives, chips and peppers for breakfast everyday and for tea was one set meal of rice and salad and a meatball again same everyday. The staff themselves even say how poor the standard is in the hotel, the owner apparently knows all of this but isnt bothered aslong as he gets his money off the tourists, there words not mine. The maintenance there wasn't any, the cleaner came in to our room 3 times in 2 weeks and only changed the bedding and towels, not one bit of actual cleaning and didn't even supply toilet roll. In marmaris as soon as it hits the tourist season they up the prices by 5x, this is no exaggeration. Its more expensive in Marmaris then it is in the uk. All the locals told me this is what happens. Very bad stay, very bad place. Also the beach is so packed with sunbeds you can barely see the sand. Rip off country. The place isnt the same anymore.

Very bad, they don't care

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights the hotel was very clean.thank you to the legend that is ufuk, He went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed can’t fault the man we made a great friend who shard his local knowledge and got us some great deals on transfers and excursions too. The other staff also very pleasant.the pool was decent nice and quiet chilled area could also play your own music without a issue. The spa was amazing and good price too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that doesn’t want anything to flash,but a great place never the less. The shops are all around you including a laundrette service very close. Also a few doors down almena city pub where you can grab yourself a pint for £1.50 where adil will take care of you. If I ever return to Marmaris almena is where I will be staying again for sure thanks to all for a great place to stay very accommodating until next time take care all 😁😎

Lovely quiet place the staff are friendly. Wi-Fi not the best but the rest made up for it the pool is great with plenty of loungers, nice place to chill out the spa downstairs is also very good and good prices 😁Shouts out to afuk the mans a legend pretty much gained ourselves a friend for life took us on nights out told us best places to book excursions etc. Sorted us a vip transfer and it was awesome so much better than a hot sweaty coach. Made our time at almena great was sad to leave them to be fair plenty of stuff nearby especially almena city pub with £1.50 a pint can’t go wrong 😁

Over charged my card by 1000 lira, for the love of God never ever stay at this place, no good will come from your holidays, if you can't afford to upgrade stay at home marmaris is a beautiful place but people have left holiday makers disgruntled
