Club Scala Nuova

When booking a 3 star hotel I make sure not to expect anything more or less, however We had one of the best holidays of our lives right up there with the five star hotels we have stayed at. When you go on holiday it’s usually for the sun, the beach and the pool all of which were perfectly fine, it’s not all about the room the unused spaces or the language barriers because you have to realise that you are the one with the problem if you cannot speak THIER language, you are in THIER country and cannot be upset when they try their best to help, as well as this the majority of the staff knew the basics on what to say to you if you had a problem and if not they would use Google translate to make sure they could help. The staff were incredibly kind and always polite and although the hotel and food were the average 3 stars that we had booked the staff made sure it felt like a 5 star holiday we really couldn’t have asked for better people. In particular the restaurant manager, victor, he was delightful and always said good morning/afternoon and made sure everything was ok for everyone and on our last day the beer cooler had broken and he sincerely apologised for any inconvenience and seemed genuinely upset that he may have let anyone down, you really cannot fault the people there if you have an issue with the food then it’s due to your body and how it handles change, it’s not down to the food itself, if anything were to cause a stomach problem it would have been down to the Ice in the drinks and that is not the hotels doing.The outside bar is another common thing people seem to have a problem with, however the bar is unused, probably due to the lack of staff, so why comment on it, if it was unclean and actually used then your complaining would be justified but everything that was used in the hotel was always cleaned, the pool area was cleaned throughout the day as was the restaurant. I encountered no problems during my stay at club scala nuova and couldn’t have had a better holiday.
