We have just returned from a week holiday, staying in Kelebek studios, we had the best stay in the studios. Everything was spotless and the cleaners were in every day. There were plenty of facilities had we had wanted to make meals here. The mini freezer was handy to store some well needed ice cream! 
The pool area was lovely and relaxing, we were on the bottom floor so could literally walk out into the pool. Most of the time we actually had the pool to ourselves! It was almost like having a private villa. 
The studios are at the top of a fairly steep hill, it was extremely hot during our visit but we did manage to walk it most of the week.
An added bonus was that the weekly market was right outside our door! We would definitely recommend the studios to anyone and if we were to return to Kalkan, we would 100% book to stay here again.

Breakfast is complimentary which is a bonus ..family run with the mum doing all the cooking which is very tasty.  Have eaten here several times . Friendly family who run the complex . 10 min walk into town .

Lovely self-catering apartment (4) on the side of the building. Complimentary breakfast - air con included.
Didn’t cook at all - ate at Suleymans (just up the hill from Migros supermarket), Ata (just down from Migros) and the hotel - all good and within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. 
Kalkan is beautiful with a rich history. Unfortunately my friend collapsed on the road going back to the hotel in the extreme heat ( thanks Cerberus) after climbing the hill. 
Be careful in the heat - wear a hat, stay hydrated and get a taxi back to the hotel if you are not fit (about £3 from the taxi rank). The local people were really friendly and helpful, as were the family who run the hotel when my friend was I’ll. Big shout out to them.

Pool was great and some days we had it to ourselves. It is not suitable for small children due to the depth (but there are 2 others in the hotel across the road). The decking needs some TLC as it is starting to rot in places and is a concern - always wear footwear around it. 
On the whole I had a great relaxing holiday apart from my friend’s I’ll health.



We booked a late deal with TUI for a self catering studio at Kelebek.  We were really impressed.  The studio was modern, clean and very comfortable.  The family who run the hotel and studios are lovely and friendly and welcoming.  The studios are located a 10 minutes walk from the old town and harbour.  It is a steep climb back up.  The views from the hotel rooftop terrace are lovely.  A free breakfast is provided in the hotel for self catering.  The studio was a good size with a large shower room.  There is a kitchenette with a fridge and small freezer inside, a kettle and 2 rings.  There are not a lot of cooking utensils but with a free breakfast and so many wonderful tavernas, you do not need to cook.  The food at the Kelebek is also excellent if you decide to have dinner there.  The hotel and apartments both have a swimming pool.  There is a lovely little bar at the hotel pool.  There is a delicious and fun weekly BBQ - don't forget your dancing shoes!  The other guests were mostly British and the atmosphere between guests was excellent.  We highly recommend the Kelebek, whatever your age.

Stayed here for 2 lovely weeks. Early season so it was quiet. Myself  and my friend had the pool to ourselves apart from the odd hour 3 times in the whole 2 weeks. Studios were perfect for us. Lovely spacious rooms. Complimentary breakfast from the hotel just across the road which was lovely. Family run and everyone of them and their team were really nice and friendly.  Our last few days there were more people arriving and there was more going on. We called in the bar on our last night as there were others drinking and talking. It was lovely. Had it have been like this sooner we would have used the bar more nights. 
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and will definitely use Kelebek again 

This was a last-minute booking as our plans to go to France went awry. We took what was offered in order to get away. Talk about landing on your feet! We wanted self-catering and what we got was a clean and comfortable apartment, well equipped, with all we need. There are 10 studios, who share a pool. It is never crowded. Towels are changed daily, beds weekly and it is cleaned daily. Everything is modern (Ikea units throughout) spacious and well organised. The kitchenette would not please Gordon Ramsey, but we only made a cuppa and a salad, and the cups, plates,bowls, etc supplied were fine. We had a problem with a broken kettle - replaced immediately, as was the electric griddle (must have been broken by a previous occupant), so we found the service first class. We had the use of the pool, bar and restaurant of the hotel over the road and could have had a complimentary breakfast. We didn’t, hence the self catering option, but found the family and staff friendly and welcoming and were very impressed by our first experience of Turkey. So many people we met have visited this hotel & apartments multiple times so they are clearly doing something right. 

We only booked 3 days prior to leaving but Kelebek (Turkish word for Butterfly 🦋) Apartments turned out great. Big brother Kelebek Hotel across the street offered a complimentary breakfast of break, jam, cheese, salad, coffee & juice which was much appreciated.
Staff at family run hotel were all very friendly and helpful.
Property cleaned daily and towels/ loo rolls also replaced daily.
Highly recommend.

I stayed with my wife and son in the apartment No. 303, from July 19 to August 1. The apartments are two streets lower than the Kelebek Hotel itself and are closer to the downtown where the shops and restaurants are, and the beach also. The walk to the beach is a pleasant one, and it takes around 8-10 minutes, although on the return is a little bit steep. The apartments are great! There were two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other one with two single beds. The bathroom with a shower was very well maintained and regularly cleaned. The apartment was cleaned daily and although they claim to change towels and sheets once a week, they changed it every day, which was awesome. The living room featured two sofa beds, so the apartment can accommodate even a family of  5/6 persons! The kitchen was fully equipped - full size oven, kettle, toasters, dishes and silverware, cooking pots, even a dishwasher! It is ideal for self-catering! Although you don't need it much, since the restaurants and kebab houses close to the apartments are very affordable. There was a washing machine in the apartment which we also used. There is an air-conditioning both in the living room - kitchen and in one of the bedrooms. However, you have to pay extra for the air-onditioning which is 9 euros per day. There is a swimming pool in the facility which we also used. It was not crowded, and it was clean. All in all, We are very satisfied with our stay at the Kelebek Aparts and would certainly come back. 

Have been staying at the Kelebek for over 12 years both at the hotel and there apartments, but this was our first stay in the studios. Situated right across the road from the hotel the studios are not only spacious but also extremely well finished. From the massive open plan bedroom to the impressive bathroom with large double walk in shower. Outside, the pool area is very well kept with plenty of sun loungers to stretch out and enjoy the hot Turkish sun. Breakfast is included in the price on the roof terrace at the hotel across the road. As always the Ozdimer family who own the Kelebek make everyone feel very special and one of the family.

This is a nicely located family run apartments and studio rooms, the rooms facing towards Kalkan bay have the most amazing views, with an ample size balcony, the rooms are plenty spacious enough, with a comfortable bed, with wc and shower room in the room, the whole place maintains a high level of cleanliness and the towels and bedding are changed on a regular enough basis, breakfast is traditional Turkish, the apartments are run by a truly amazing family who really make you feel at home, there is a good pool side bar, and you can get amazing home cooked lunches and evening meals, anyone researching the Kelebek will notice it is only given a two star rating, personally I think this is very, very mean, I have stayed in some places which are four star rated that are not a patch on the Kelebek, would I recommend staying here? 100% yes. Just as with the rest of Kalkan I would not recommend to anyone with extreme mobility problems.

Immediately made to feel like one of the family, lovely friendly place to stay.

Rooms comfortable well stocked with all you need in self catering washing machine/cooking area/ iron (if needed) rooms cleaned daily comfortable beds air con fridge and great hosts to add anything you need. We do several evenings of cooking as local food really cheap and so fresh and tasty and it works. There is only so much restaurant food you can eat and we enjoy doing this, it also makes for a good value holiday.
