Our stay at Hotel Sirkeci Mansion was unforgettable. Ohay’s hospitality and passion for his country turned four days in Istanbul into so much more than a hotel stay. From cooking classes where we shared the joy of eating our own meal without paying for a single ingredient, to a Wednesday tour where he surprised us with bagels, water, and ice cream — every detail felt generous and genuine, never an extra charge. These little experiences gave us the confidence to explore the city like locals, discovering places that were consistently good and honest value. Our room was perfectly balanced — comfortable, spotless, and full of character, with the most beautiful park view. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and thanks to Beyhan, the kindest housekeeper, the room was always cared for with warmth and attention. I truly wish I could take this hotel with me in all my travels: small, authentic, clean, full of character, and made unforgettable by the people who run it.
