the reseption was very rude. she didn't help us about check_out and get extra money. the room was ok but they didn't give us extra slippers. there is no elevator and nobody help us to carry the suit cases we carry them on our own. the smell of smoke bothers us and also the breakfast was very poor. I don't recommed there for any one.

The rooms are very small, especially three-seater, the suitcase can be placed nowhere at all. In the room there is a small refrigerator, a two-seater closet, a bathroom with a shower room, a fan. 2.Sanuzel in a mushroom, absolutely black, water does not flow, towel - 1 piece per person. 3.In the room everything is very simple because in the next room you can cook here, everything is very attractive to you.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I was in avisiting to Istanbul for work and as usual my stay were at the Akgun Hotel which is the best great thanks to the hotel's reception and  thank to them all specaily Mr. Turgay and  Ebru & Safak.which by their help every thing was great.thanks again.

Akgun hotel

The main pros are the following - metro station Ulubatly is 5 mins walk, tram T1 (to the main Old City places) is 5 mins walk, the price, clean rooms. That's it.
No coffee at the hotel, a breakfast is very very poor, no soups, no fruits. Only tea, some bread, boiled eggs, tomatoes and cucumbers, several types of cheese and olives, some jams. No answer to the question where the coffee is.... strange, each hotel in my mind had a coffee for the quests.
Even with no cleaning requests somebody was in my room, because I closed the door with 2 turns, now its closed with one. Not good.
Too loud with this basketball place just in front of the main entrance. Children are very loud.
Non-comfortable sleepers, no feet towel to get out from the shower. TV remote controller does not work properly, especially volume down. Control is only from remote.Only turk channels, no English, no Russian. Nothing to watch.
No paper strip on sanitary, I don't know was it cleaned properly.
Wifi constantly turns off, every 5 mins you must to make a connection.
Linen is clean, pillow is not comfortable, but at least they provided a war blanket. The bed is wide and nice to sleep.
A hair dryer is not comfortable, you must all the time keep your finger on the button to make it work.
It's nice they have a small fridge in the room. No drinks of course or bar or something. Only one bottle of water on checking.
No info on hotel services in the room.
And the biggest minus - they have no elevator! Its 4 floor hotel with no lift.

Better to find another place

It gives me immense pleasure to thank you for my comfortable stay in your hotel. Your staff is very friendly, helpful and have positive attitude. They showed gracious hospitality. The rooms are well maintained. The quality of service was nice. The breakfast was very delicious.

The Internet was weak (or even lacking) in the room. The Internet was just downstairs near the reception. There was only soap and shower gel in the room. No dishes, no empty minibar. The TV was silent. We had an early departure - no breakfast replacement offered.

• Hotel for 1 night only.

My husband and I decided to go to the last Ak saray. We wandered a long time and, as a result, took a taxi for 10 liras. The hotel was booked in advance at Booking.com The flight was at 3.45 on 3 October. In Istanbul we were at 6.30 in the morning. We settled on the red line of the metro. We had to leave at the stop of Topkappa - it seems to be the third or second island with the final. We arrived at the final Ak saray. We wandered a long time and, as a result, took a taxi for 10 liras.

Oz Yavuz Hotel 3*

We were very happyt o choose this particular hotel. It is located in an excellent spot. Near to M-stations. It is a most historical place, because Sultan Mehmet Fatih went here through the wall. It is very easy to go from this place to different lacations. Sultan Ahmet and Otagar/Airport via the Metro and to Taksim, Kadikoy and Besiktas by bus. The busses are standing in front of the hotel.
The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was good and the personel friendly.
