DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Gayrettepe

Where do I even begin!!!! Iv stayed in many hotels in Istanbul and this one is definitely at the top. We had a late flight so arrived a the hotel after midnight. Security helped us take our luggage in, the warm freshly baked cookie upon arrival was wonderful. The front desk team checked us in so quickly and smoothly. We were quickly escorted to our suit on the top floor which has a beautiful and exclusive entrance. The suit was beautiful and really spacious. My children were so excited when they saw their room. we had booked a two bedroom suit, our en-suite bathrooms were also really big and the showers were so huge you could fit a family of 4 inside one. I regret not learning the names of the staff because everyone was so very lovely, friendly and approachable. The beds were so comfortable and we slept like babies. The next morning we ordered room service and the breakfast was lovely. The housekeeping lady was so polite, didn’t speak English but no problem because she did a lovely job. Our complimentary water bottles were restocked daily, beds made and floors cleaned. The breakfast buffet was a lot more varied and had much more choices than the Doubletree in Piyalepaşa. I really strongly recommend this hotel, 6min walking distance to Gayrettepe Metro which takes you straight to Taksim or closer to Eminönü. There is a mall next door with a Migros and plenty of restaurants choices. Several other malls close by. You can also get the train straight to the airport. The doubletree in Piyalepaşa was nice but this one was better. Thank you so much to everyone and for making my family feel so comfortable.
