Amiral Palace Hotel

WOW! The hotel itself was fantastic, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. When we arrived, we realized we had left one of our converters behind. So immediately they gave us two to borrow. Later one of us tore some clothing, so we requested a sewing kit. At first we had a little difficulty communicating what a sewing kit as, but once they understood, they brought us one to our room immediately. Once in the room, it was very spacious, and cozy. The light sconces are pure silver, and no attention to detail is missed. The bed was beyond our imagination. We traveled in Europe for 5 weeks, and stayed at probably 11-12 different hotels. These bed and the pillows were By Far the most comfortable. I have a back problem and generally toss and turn at night. Once I fell into bed I was enveloped in comfort. I fell right asleep and woke up 10 hours later in the same position in which I fell asleep. The rooftop patio for breakfast has a great view of the harbor, and the food was excellent. They even made omelettes the way we wanted them that was pure heaven. The location is great, very near a walking market and the fabulous Blue Mosque, each within easy walking distance. The money for the value of this establishment is outstanding. IF WE COULD GIVE THIS HOTEL 10 STARS, WE WOULD!
