The people and place have touched our heart and we have fallen in love ❤️ with this Gem of Istanbul 💎. The 5 star hotels dont even stand in competition against this hidden gem in the lap of Yedikule Fort. The perfect example why one should stay in a boutique hotel. Before proceeding further I would like to make it clear that the review is absolutely not requested by the owner or any staff. It is straight out of my and my familly's heart including my 7 year old son who now says that he wants to stay here forever. The hotel is micro managed in all aspects by the owner Mr. Yunus who has a heart bigger than his hotel. Words won't be enough to review about every aspect, however it is very necessary to dig into every aspect to discover this Gem 💎. Booking - Best way to book is to book directly with the hotel through a call or whatsapp on +90 5374920000. Our booking was directly handled by Mr. Yunus. The booking was seamless and very transparent. Mr. Yunus surprised us with an upgrade to King sea view room just a couple of days before our arrival. Arrival and check in - Mr. Yunus was prompt to check our arrival timings before our arrival and ensured a warm hearted welcome and ensured that the room was spick and span. Room - The room is spacious enough and accomodatea a king size and queen size bed. Perfect utilisation of space ensures that there is enough for us to move around the room. My son has enough space to play around in the room. The room has a balcony with a magnificient view of the Marmara Sea which accomodates 2 chairs and a table to relax and enjoy. The room has a flat screen TV with Netflix connection. Cleanliness - The hotel is as clean as one would like their food plate to be. The cleanliness has a positive vibe all day around. The room and linens are diligently cleaned and changed everyday. Breakfast - The USP of the hotel. Roof top breakfast with panaromic views of the Marmara Sea. Freshly prepared mouth watering breakfast by 2 wonderful ladies who serve their heart out. There can't be a better way to start your day. Location - Another USP. What if I say the tram station is only 50 metres away from the hotel? You read it right. Yedikule tram station serving main tourist places like Sultan Ahmet, Sirkeci is just 50 metres and 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The bus stop is just 200 metres away from the hotel with a direct bus to Taksim and other places. Save your taxi bills 🚖💰 and go shopping at Grand Bazar! Tourist information - The owner Mr. Yunus also has a tourism company which can do all tourist arrangements with guided tour, however he also provides all tourist information for free with open arms and patiently until one is satisfied. The beautiful story is an endless one which won't fit in a review. We shall always be grateful to the people here especially Mr. Yunus and we say "Teşekkür ederim Yunus Bey".
