We are in the last couple of days of our holiday in Icmeler staying at the Bilnur apartments. It is the first time staying here at the Bilnur but we have been to icmeler many times. We prefer apartments over hotels for the freedom you get when staying there. The apartments themselves are big, spacious and well laid out. There is everything we usually find in them and they are as nice as any we have ever stayed in. Location wise it is further back in the resort than we usually opt for but we knew that when we booked and it's been fine for us, a little quieter anyway.
The owners and staff here could not be nicer, we have never once been asked or felt pressured to eat here but we have used the restaurant a few times during the day when we couldn't be bothered to go out. The food, service and prices are all very good and on a par with everywhere else. Going back to the staff I have to say that everyone is pleasant, speaks and are always cheerful they really are nice. 
We did pop in earlier in the year to ensure that the request we made through tui for a low floor room had been recieved and were not surprised they had no mention of it on their records. They did note it and asked me to reconfirm a few weeks before we were due to arrive. I did that and we have been placed in a ground floor room in the older of the two blocks which has been perfect. 
Looking at previous reviews and people's comments these apartments are no different to others in that you need to supply yourself with basic consumables, toilet rolls etc and that is the norm in s/c apartments in Turkey so don't be shocked or surprised.
Overall we have had a lovely time here and I would happily recommend these apartments to anyone looking to come and stay.

Lovely relaxing stay.

Another great holiday at Bilnur. Everyone at Bilnur go out their way to ensure a wonderful time. Stayed in attic room view is amazing and room great size stairs are a killer though. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced . Bar staff first class. In general a good quiet vibe although was a bit noisy for last few days of holiday. Towel wars needs to be addressed loungers being reserved at 2.30am is not on, should be no towels before 8am. Thanks again for a great time, already booked for next year.

Another fabulous holiday

My family of four arrived at around 6am to be met by a fairly grumpy older man. We were then charged £100 for ac for two weeks (knew we would have to pay for this but still a bit of a shock at how expensive). He showed us to our room. It was in a kind of basement. Having travelled through the night we were keen just to get settled in the room and have a nap so when the gent asked if the room was ok (when we had just stepped in) we said yes. 
Once we’d had our nap we got a proper look and feel for the room and it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. The ‘balcony’ was more like another room with windows that slid open- it was a hot box! Very uncomfortable to sit out in (especially due to the ac hot air blowing in to it). The tv did not work. The sofa bed was tiny. Also only ac in the bedroom so there were fights over who had to sleep in the hot living room. Having booked a ‘superior’ room we were surprised when we spoke to other residents and realised we had been put in one of the worst rooms. 
We asked to be moved one evening and were told it would be dealt with next morning when manager was in. Asked again and no further forward. Luckily our rep was in that day and managed to sort a move for us. We ended up at the top of the hotel (up the scary staircase mentioned by another reviewer) but we now had a proper balcony, a larger sofa bed and a working tv so definitely an upgrade on the basement! 
Unfortunately on our first evening my son went for a shower and as he closed the glass sliding door it fell! It wasn’t attached to the rest of shower screen! There was also a second door missing. We told staff about this and they simply said to just prop it up and don’t touch it (not great with children). We also realised our door didn’t lock properly. It seemed to lock but if simply pushed from the outside it opened without key. Guy came to fix this, but wasn’t fixed. We also had an issue with the ac which started leaking on the bed below it and then stopped working. Must say the guys did a great job fixing this. 
Beds were made for us every day and towels changed regularly. Room was for the most part clean (although under the bed obviously hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time) just very dated and in need of a refurb. 
Facilities were a bit lacking for a self catering apartment. One hob wasn’t ideal and not many cooking utensils/supplies. Also no cleaning supplies such as broom (which we’ve always had in other places). 
Pool was nice, although the rail to get in and out was loose and therefore a hazard. Like many places folk did the towel trick on sun beds, which was very frustrating when they then went out for the day and those of use using the pool could t get one/had to take one in the shade. 
Service around the pool was great for drinks and food. Food was fine- nothing special but good for lunch/snack around pool. Restaurant at night was quiet which we liked and food at night the same as daytime. We didn’t partake in any of the steak/bbq nights as the noisy entertainment etc not liked by my kids. However saw a bit of it from balcony one night and looked fun (although entertainers seemed a bit pushy for tips at the end). The older guy who I presume was the restaurant manager was friendly and always had a smile on his face. 
Location was great for my family who prefer to be on the outskirts in a quieter location. But only a short walk to main hotspots and beach. 

Overall it was fine but I definitely wouldn’t choose to return. We always stay in budget self catering  accommodation so don’t expect a lot but Bilnur was lacking compared to others. However the staff (for the most part!)  were really lovely.

Tired, v.basic but most staff great

Just back from a fabulous 7 days vacation in Ichmeler Turkey and stayed at the fabulous Bilnur Apartments, which were beautifully maintained clean and tidy. My apartment was a superior one on the 3rd floor. If you suffer from vertigo or are physically challenged these rooms are not for you as the narrow spiral staircase is one to behold. I nearly lost my footing several times due to feeling dizzy (no I wasn't drunk). Having a toaster and a 2 ringed burner in room was lovely to make simple breakfast or light lunches. I found the a/c  too cold for me at night even on lowest setting. It was great having a TV to keep track of news back home and also for the music channel. I got my phone wet whilst on a trip and couldn't get in touch with my family who were concerned. TUI tried several times to get in touch with the hotel for a wellness check on me but couldn't get through, eventually I spoke to Rep explained my dilemma and they contacted my family. I would of loved to rate the hotel 5* but my issue is with guest reserving sunbeds and then leaving to go out for the day leaving several sunbeds unoccupied. I also had my towel removed from my sunlounger and flung near a bush. When I approached the guest on my bed and asked about my towel she was rude and disrespectful and pointed to another bed. I spoke to a young member of staff and he just shrugged shoulders and went about serving guests. I get you have the same guests (loyal ones) who come year after year but you should also think about the new ones coming and spreading the word how wonderful your establishment is. Would I come again a big fat YES! Please do take into consideration the reserving of sunbeds. If guest are not on the beds for less than 30mins they forfeit the bed and their belongings are put to the side unlike my towel which was on the floor. 

7 glorious days in Turkey at the Bilnur Apartments

We have just arrived home following a two week stay.
The hotel is lovely and clean everything you need for safe catering. The food and drink at the hotel was nice hot and fresh it was a win win with the kids so that a plus. People had mentioned how expensive it was but for us personally what we pay on a night out back in the uk fed a family of four for two days all day and night.
The staff were amazing friendly an incident did happen but it was handle professionally- 
I couldn't recommend this hotel enough thank you for a great holiday💙💙💙 

Brilliant holiday

Lovely small  family ran apartments.
The rooms are clean, linen is clean. The food is very good the cook is amazing.  It's a perfect base. We came as a family of 17 the staff couldn't do enough for us. 
This was our second stay here and we will be returning next year.

Amazing little Gem

Just ending a lovely three weeks at the Bilnur, we stayed in the 2 bed apartment for the majority of our stay and it was lovely and spacious with a double, 2 singles and a large sofa bed in the lounge area. 
The staff are what make these apartments brilliant, they are attentive, friendly, and made our holiday! Special mention to Duran, Murt, Tunay and Sami and the rest of the team - thank you!
Yes there was a family domestic and shouting one evening, but all of the Bilnur team dealt with it swiftly and the relevant authorities quickly arrived. You can’t blame the Bilnur for the behaviour of some guests! But their handling of it was done well.

Wonderful stay at the Bilnur

I have just come back from the Bilnur Apartments in Icmeler.
What can I say it was different to any other place I had been on holiday.
I got a deal on the apartment around 3 weeks before departure. Looking at the reviews and pictures I thought that’s looks nice and will be ok.
Looking at what Tui are charging for a week or 2 next year I just think your be mad to pay that not worth it I paid £350 for week in August as like I said on a late deal 
The rooms are VERY BASIC  
very small bathroom and very limited cooking facilities if you wanted to do any basic food preparation. Very limited amount of plates / Cutlery etc 
The room which had a double bed was clean but that’s about it 
Has a tv and 2 chairs in the main area of the apartment but again VERY SMALL ideal for 2 people.
Overall the rooms are ok nothing to shout about.
The outside areas of the apartment are ok plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available. Small children’s play area.
The bar staff are nice and very welcoming ( but that is there job) 
Food prices are higher then in the main area of icmeler but prices have risen a lot in Turkey so don’t expect cheap food and drink.
Food portions are terrible very small but I found that every time I ate in a restaurant not like your normal portion size I felt like I was a kid with the size of it.
Very limited availability of food every time wanted to order something of the menu there was all ways something not available (it’s peak season August) 
Holiday was ok had some idiots of about 10 people arrive including children at the apartments. I felt what the hell am I doing hear the swearing from them shouting and one of them nearly got into a fight with some one horrible not what u want to see on holiday but the staff did deal with the situation but then the same evening there was police and tui rep there and I just thought get me out of this place don’t no what went on yes again the same lot of loud mouth people.
Would I return to the Bilnur (never) not my sort of place, as I said was a cheap deal basic facilities and to just sit around the pool I could live with.
A/c is £50 for week and ONLY in your bedroom so if you’re in kitchenette area or sleeping in one of the pull down very small chair bed u will be HOT.
Toilet roll you have to get your own (joke).
Overall some will like it and will probably return others won’t.
Everyone has their own thoughts.
Plus the pictures are outdated on the Tui website.
Supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away and around 10 minutes to get to main area with all the shops and restaurants and beech.
Overall 
2 star ⭐️⭐️ at the most.

VERY BASIC

Lovely apartments had a nice large balcony with pretty views. Staff were very friendly and gave us advice on bus/ taxis etc. even printed out our boarding passes on the last day for us! 
The apartments are at the top end of icmeler with a 10/15 minute walk to the beach but plenty of shops and restaurants close by if you want to stay near. 
We had a delux room with a bedroom and two sofa beds in lounge area. Sofa beds were too small for my 17 and 20 year old son and daughter, would only  be ok for children. Also nowhere to sit on the lounge area unless you made them back in to chairs every day which would have been too much hassle. Had to pay for air on in room which acne to £78 for 11 nights. Air con unit is only in bedroom so living area is still hot to sleep in which was annoying.  Apart from these  issues  Everything was  clean and tidy and all in all we had a lovely stay at bilnur! 🥰

Lovely family run hotel! 

We recently stayed here during the heatwave, I can’t fault anything on the place. The rooms was clean and tidy, good air conditioning and staff and very helpful and friendly. The staff can’t do enough for you and always very welcoming. I see a few reviews saying it’s a walk to the beach but it’s no longer than 10 minutes, with plenty of walking places to shop and eat on the way. We are hoping to return next year.
