We had a wonderful stay at this apart hotel in Marmaris! The location is fantastic, just steps away from the beach. The rooms were clean, spacious, and modern. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We especially enjoyed the delicious meals at the hotel's restaurant. Definitely a place we'd love to visit again!

Fantastic holiday

Just got back from a 10 day stay.
I had a studio apartment on the ground floor it was spacious and clean. Plenty of storage space in wardrobe and drawers. Bathroom nice size with a larger shower than most. Room was cleaned every two days, with fresh towels and sheets. The pool is huge for the hotel with slides for children that run for 2hr slots twice a day.

The restaurant prices are more than reasonable 50 Lira for a coke. The food was nice but we went out most days and evenings as booked room only.

 The hotel was quite as was end of season which suited us perfectly. The staff were all polite and friendly. Jack was our main waiter and he was great, always cheery and welcoming, didn't hassle you to eat there and was chatty, made the effort to know everyone's names quickly.

The beach is about a 10 minute stroll lots of shops close by including a supermarket to get your room necessities. And the main road is 2 minutes round the corner to catch the dolmus bus 25 Lira to marmaris.
Hotel is in great location far enough out from all the noise but close access to everything.

Only thing I would say is the bath towels are quite small, but they do the job. WiFi doesn't reach the rooms, but you can usually get a weak signal on the balcony (not a need just an observation)

Great hotel Great staff and would happily stay again 

Friendly, quiet and perfect location for us

Stayed here for a week in September, this is the third time I've stayed here and I don't have any complaints. We stayed in one of the studios.
Room was big enough for us, nice bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Room was cleaned every other day and bedding and towels changed regularly.
Pool area nice with plenty of sunbeds. Bar area nice and drinks sensibly priced. We didn't have any food there but what we saw other people eating looked good.
Its in a quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the town centre and another 5 minutes further to the beach.
The staff are all very pleasant and friendly, we were never put under any pressure to eat or drink there.
As with most places in Icmeler you get what you pay for, don't book here expecting 5 star accommodation for the price they charge. I would say that its excellent value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

Really nice apartments

The apartments are clean , as is the pool area and is a good base for getting to beach and the centre. Only problem is the owner, if you are not spending your money with him you will be ignored. He has his favourites and outside this you will basically not exist. The idea of self catering is trying local food and getting out and about. Have to compliment the cleaners though , they did a great job. Waiting staff are ok , work hard

Nice apartments, owner not very friendly

We arrived early hours, my partner was taken ill, Ali went above and beyond making sure he received the medical attention necessary, he ended up in Marmaris hospital for a week. I was commuting every day by taxi to the hospital and i cannot thank Ali and his staff enough for the help and care that i received. We enjoyed a further 2 weeks at Palm Gardens relaxing by the fantastic, clean pool. Difficulties do arise when large groups of people, 20+ in number arrive, and literally take over, making it very difficult to get a sun bed and are often very noisy and unruly, ? through drink. Couples hoping for a quieter time now have problems knowing when to book as more and more people are taking older children out of school during the official term. The apartments are adequately eqipped, bed change and cleaning performed every 2 days. Varied food and drink menu in the bar, food freshly cooked, prices on a par with other resorts. Entertainment and BBQ good. Fitted bed sheets and soft towels would be a big bonus.

Absolutely love Palm Garden, no issues at all. Returned numerous times. So close to all amenities and great value for money. Ali,staff and food and drinks are great. Nothing is too much trouble. Fresh towels and bedding every other day. In house entertainment fabulous.

Great location, really clean, lovely pool area. Could not fault any part, staff friendly and do not beg you to stay in the bar to eat or drink which unlike some others which is great. The pool bar/restaurant reasonably priced. Ali the owner is nice and well organised, he arranged all our transfers. It feels safe for families, always someone on reception, and there are cameras. We really enjoyed our holiday and would return. If you want 5 star book and pay for it. 

Great holiday

I’ll start by saying some of the reviews here made me nervous when I read them a few days before we went on holiday - but we had a fantastic experience and have already rebooked for next summer. 

ROOMS
They are basic rooms but clean and well appointed. They are clearly touched up every off-season. More like a Butlins apartment than a Radisson. Like with all hotels, power only works if you are in the room. We never found the heat too much in the room, but we were on a lower floor and weren’t really in there during the day. Room cleaning was inconsistent - the standard was always good, but I’d say that it probably happened about 70% of the time. Upside: it’s a proper double bed, there’s loads of space, the kitchen is good and well stocked with pots, pans, plates etc. The balcony is well sized and safe for kids. Downside: the mattresses are hard (found this at every hotel in Turkey), and there’s only 1 pillow each, which might not be enough for some people. 

Like with most hotels in Turkey, some things are payable on arrival. £60pw for aircon, £30 for safety deposit box. It’s unusual for the U.K., but par for the course there. 

FACILITIES
Pool is great, huge for the size of hotel. The slides are good fun, and operate for 2 windows each day. We never had any issue securing a bed - at any time of the day. The restaurant/bar is comfortable, the shade is welcome! The food is reasonable and tasty, the drinks aren’t as cheap as you get on the main strip, but cheap enough. Pop is 45L, Beer 90L, Ice Cream 25L, Pizza 180L etc. The BBQ night is good fun. 

The bar is cashless if you want, so it all gets added to your room. We never had any issues with charges, they all stacked up perfectly against what we had bought. 

It’s not a quiet hotel, there’s pool music from about 10am (not blaring), and the evening stuff can go on til midnight. But it never bothered us, and our room was right next to the bar. 

Pool night was great fun as well. 

Only thing that was a bit annoying was the showers near the pool don’t have toilets in, so you had to traipse up to the bar. 

The arcade is a bit aged as well. 

STAFF

I have to say, some of the reviews here are unnecessarily unfair to the staff. We thought they were all brilliant. Attentive but not intrusive, polite, good fun and helpful. 

Ali/Seb as the owners were both lovely. The guy who sits on reception overnight was nice. Efay was always up for a dance. Jonny, Octay and the rest of the bar staff were helpful and great with us. I certainly never felt uncomfortable by any stretch, and trusted them.

Overall, it’s a brilliant hotel, tucked away but minutes from the strip. A short walk to the beach and fantastic value. Looking forward to being back next year.

A brilliant, basic hotel that ticks all the right boxes, in a great location

Just back from palm garden had a great time was our 2nd visit and was fun all the way can I just say that if your a couple who wants a peaceful holiday this is not the place for you ,it all about the kids ere young and old lol .we aske for a low pool view room and got one so was happy from the start ,ok there is a problem with getting sunbeds but only the ones round the poolside but I can honestly say there were always sunbeds empty any time of day in other areas so yes if you want a specific bed you will have to get up to reserve if you not bothered you will get one probably around the slide area .the staff were fantastic with us and our kids food was lovely always cooked fresh prices not too bad to say how much prices gone up in turkey (it’s not the cheap holiday anymore ) Ali is very welcoming and always on hand to help so very clean cheap apartments. So just back and I’ll give you some prices   Average English breakfast £5 Chicken meals £8 Soft drinks £1.50 3 wheeled scooters £13-15 day exchange rate 33.500  Efes £3 bottle was a couple bars £2 draught pint (Freinds bar just one to mention) like I said it’s not as cheap as it’s been in the past but still value for money . Just one little complaint about the apartments the slides ok kids are kids but as last year there’s always those who don’t take any notice of the safety signs and think they are indistuctable they are an accident waiting to happen ie running up the slides running down the slides and then there’s the ones that think it’s good to put other kids in danger like putting all inflatables on the slides and blocking them like I said kids are kids but need telling parents before someone gets hurt all in all a great time will return
