Fabulous place to watch the Balloons at dawn! Unbelievable breakfast spread, so many choices. The staff are family, and they serve you so you feel like family too!My daughter made friends and visited with them, sharing ideas, insights, love of animals. Such kind peopke! Beautiful classic building, tastefully done, well maimtained, clean. Everyone of my group was happy, each felt welcome and safe and pampered!

Amazing stay in a wonderful and central location

We liked that the property was safe, convenient and walkable to dining options. Tkeakfast was amazing. The  person at the reception gave us all the information and was always was friendly  and speaks English, the ladies who serve bkeakfast and do the the cleaninf were helping us all  the time. We will  definitely recommend the place to our friends.

Beautiful hotel. Elegant. Gorgeous view from rooftop with pillowed resting area. Extensive breakfast. Great location for major sites. Friendly service.

We stayed 2 nights. A short walk to all restaurants and shopping. We explored the area surrounding the village from here. Stunning formations close by. Our room was huge with a separate sitting area, that bit of space when you're travelling is wonderful. Breakfast is outstanding in the terrace. A wonderful stay. Thank you to the team.

Great location, easy walk to everywhere in Goreme. Room was good size, excellent shower and bathroom is big space. Area around was very quiet. Staff friendly, always around if needed, they have created this atmosphere of home. Breakfast selection was very good and fresh. Fantastic views from roof terrace, especially for watching the balloons as they literally come over the top of you..so close.

Our host was extremely helpful, & polite. The views are stunning from the terrace. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. He helped us book a private tour with a spanish speaker which was so interesting and fun. We had an early flight and would miss breakfast, but our host prepared us a juice and delicious sandwich; he was always so thoughtful. I would really recommend this place. :)

The property provides a generally enjoyable stay, but there are some notable drawbacks. Guests, including ourselves, noted that the Deluxe Balcony room lacked privacy due to a bathroom door that doesn't fully close, which could be uncomfortable for couples or anyone sensitive to noise. The breakfast is plain. Furthermore, while the hotel's location is convenient, its uphill terrain might be challenging for elderly guests or those with mobility issues while walking. All in all, we had a good time.

Great little hotel with an amazing terrace where you can see the whole town and balloons flying over your head in the morning. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean bed. Breakfast was very rich with a buffet that had a lot of yummy homemade turkish specialties. It was nice to see that they invest time into making some of the specialties themselves rather than just using the pre cooked stuff. My top highlight is the service - the manager Fatih went above and beyond with accommodating all my requests, questions and helping me out with explaining all the hiking trails nearby. He even rescued me on his motorbike when I got lost on one of the hiking trails - can there be a more caring approach? Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and hope to be able to come back again.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Immediately when you walk in the door, you feel welcome and a sense of home. Wonder of Cappadocia is the first place I stayed in Cappadocia and it will be the last. The balloons and setting are beautiful, but I was drawn to visit Cappadocia again just to stay in this hotel! This last time I visited, the balloons weren’t flying because of wind and the town was in total lockdown because of COVID-19; however, it truly didn’t matter because the hotel setting (and amazing roof terrace!!!!) made it every bit as enjoyable! If you want a traditional and authentic experience, stay at Wonder of Cappadocia. It’s a family-run hotel and it is very clear this family truly cares about their guests and know exactly how to make your stay special and make you feel welcome. In the morning, you are served an incredible Turkish breakfast buffet by people who really cook from their hearts. The last morning I stayed here, I had an early flight, but the couple who own the hotel woke up early to prepare breakfast especially for me. I have stayed in other hotels in Cappadocia (only because Wonder of Cappadocia was booked!!) and it was so clear that Wonder of Cappadocia was unique in that it put gave so much attention to every detail in the decor and setting, unlike the other hotels I stayed. This is a very good place to stay in Goreme. Excellent location with nice big terrace for balloon watching. Plenty and easy parking if you have rental car. The rooms are not fancy but have good basic features. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Goreme.
