Pink Palace Hotel

We stayed at the Pink Palace Hotel in Hisarönü for three nights and had a wonderful experience that made our first visit to Türkiye really special. Check-in was seamless—even though we arrived late at 11:30pm—and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They offered us a secure lock box for the room (£6/day), which we declined, but it’s a useful option if you’re looking for extra peace of mind. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a double bed, a single bed, a sofa, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. Towels and sheets were changed daily, and while the balcony was small, it was perfect for sitting out and enjoying views of the pool and surrounding area. We went half board and were pleasantly surprised by the food. Breakfast included fresh pancakes, Turkish omelettes, meats, cheeses, fruit, bread, cereal, boiled eggs, and hot drinks. Dinner was just as good—tasty soups, fresh salads, meats, vegetable dishes, stews, and chicken wings. It’s worth noting that families with picky eaters may prefer exploring other nearby dining options. The pool area was peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful views of the mountains and flowers in full bloom. There were facilities close to the pool, so no need to return to your room constantly—a nice touch. We didn’t use the bar, choosing to buy our own drinks from local shops, but having that option adds flexibility. Another highlight is the location—just a 10-minute walk to the lively strip full of restaurants, bars, and shops. There’s even a play park for children. We heard there’s on-site entertainment some nights, though we spent our evenings exploring the town. Overall, we had a fantastic, restful stay. It was the perfect introduction to Türkiye, and we’ll definitely be returning. 😊
