We booked to stay at these apartments based on the reviews that had been written by others.  We arrived at midnight and were shown to our apartment.  It looked nice at first, certainly very spacious.  However it soon became clear that it wasn't very clean.  The following morning we fully realised the grim truth, it was very dirty, dusty floors, old grease splashed around the hob, filthy toilet, mouldy shower, thick dust and dead insects on the headboard, the list goes on.  We had been left one bath towel and one hand towel for the two of us.  There was no hairdryer or toaster, the only equipment available was a hob, fridge and kettle.  Well equipped?  I don't think so.  Outside, the pool was covered with detritus, dead insects, dust etc.  The sun beds were dirty and the bar area in general was dusty.  
Since we were in Turkey to visit friends, we decided to just bear with it.  We bought a bottle of spray bleach, ten disposable cloths and some rubber gloves.  We used the lot and still didn't feel the place was clean.
There was only one member of staff around, a barman I suppose, and all he did was lounge around in the bar or go to sleep.  Ooops, I forgot, I saw him watering some plants one day.
We were the only guests there, and if you look at the photographs that have been posted to accompany other reviews, you will notice that there is nobody in the background.  
Our room was not cleaned (apart from by ourselves), there was no towel change or bed change.  Nobody emptied our bins.  When we left our rubbish in the corridor, thinking that it would be picked up, it was there for three days.
We didn't even sit in the bar, let alone have a drink there, because of the fear of dirty glasses.
Positives:  it was extremely peaceful, we were not bothered by anyone;  we got a late checkout without asking because they didn't seem to know when we were supposed to leave;  we didn't have to leave a tip for the maid.

Filthy!

After arriving at 10.30pm we were shown to a damp basement apartment with one window in the bedroom.
We told them this wasn't acceptable & was shown to another where they demanded an extra £40 per night, after a huge argument we left & checked into a hotel & found a luxury apartment the next day for less money than they demanded. My concern is that other people who save hard for their holiday may not be able to do what we did & would be stuck in this place.
We did have a wonderful holiday & will return to the resort again just not to the Kelebek

Terrible

First time at kelebek only went because we used to go to camellia for the last years and moved there because of dede. He left on our second day and we were really concerned because no one could speak English. They soon put us all at ease by quickly getting someone in who could speak English,and what a fantastic time we had.rooms are very spacious, cleaner is fantastic and never stops all day.they put on a Turkish night with folk dancers and it was amazing.some peoples transfers didn't come and the owners son took them to airport free of charge.only downside was there was no one to cook food but bar was well stocked with effes lol. Will definitely return next year

Fantastic

I booked in for this trip in charge of a family group, my wife , myself, three children their partners and 4 grandchildren. The apartment was very clean, in good order and attended to daily.  We had two of the six bed aparts and each was supplied with cots for the grandchildren, all under 2 years(small extra cost). The staff were excellent and looked after us extremely well.  The manager, Dede has only taken over at the Kelebek this season and along with several other people we followed him from where he last worked. The air con worked well, there were no insect problems in the apartments we had and the bonus of two wet rooms for family's sharing was evident. 
Dede, Elle (his wife) and Jimmy were brilliant and worked tirelessly while we were there.  The premises are a ten minute walk from the beach (15 with the pushchairs) but very conveniently situated for Calis Sunday market and the dolmus to Fethiye stops at the door.  Dede is happy to share his Wi Fi with the guests. The only reason that we have not given the Kelebek  a 5 was part of the tiling around the kiddies pool needs tidied up, but if there had been a 4 & 3/4 we would have given it.  This was a special holiday for us (wife's 60th )and we will be going back, probably later this year.  Can fully recommend the Kelebek as run by Dede.

Visit June 2015 2 weeks

Only booked Kelebek because Dede and Ellie had moved here and we knew we would be well looked after. A pleasant 20 minute walk into Calis centre with lots of lovely bars, restaurants and shops, but with one or two delightful bars and coffee shops springing up nearby too. The apartments are well equipped with kettle, toaster, iron and hairdryer. The pool has a fairly open aspect which means not having to move from subbed to subbed to chase the sun. Can thoroughly recommend for couples or families. Our 3 bed duplex would easily accommodate 8 people and the complex is within a minute's walk of the bus route into Fethiye.
