The staff are very friendly,polite and helpful. the location is great. The rooms were tidy and comfortable with air con. The breakfast is served on the top floor with views of diyarbakir. It was good value for money. I don't have a bad thing to say about the place. 

Well-located on Kibris Caddesi just yards from the main bus stop and İnönü Caddesi, the Ekin looks quite new and is rather good. It’s more modern, better-value and cheaper than virtually every other hotel along Kibris Caddesi (check the prices and their rooms in the Grand Gulen etc and you'll see the difference), and I stayed there on four separate occasions over June and the only thing I would complain about this establishment was that hot water was rather lukewarm in the morning. Other than that, it was pretty clean, airy, bright, extremely comfortable, well-located and functional.

Due to the unpredictable nature of my itinerary, I checked out of the hotel every morning only to check back in again later. The first night cost me 40 LE bed and breakfast for a twin-room (I arrived at 8pm), but the other three nights cost 45 LE each (maybe cheaper to check-in late). I stayed in a few rooms and it’s best to ask for one at the back of the hotel and on a higher floor. A window in one of the rooms on the second floor doesn’t close properly and it’s advisable to go higher. Free wi-fi on every floor, and good air-con. TV had only Turkish and Kurdish channels, whilst breakfast was average on the top floor. Staff were helpful but spoke virtually no English. Credit cards accepted.

Highly recommended for budget travellers in Diyarbakir.

stayed in this hotel for 14 nights rooms were clean but very dated and in need of a revamp i had to ask the maid to change the bedding when she came with the bed sheets she handed me them at the door but they were still wet from the washing trying to explain to her was a disaster  she couldnt understand that we couldnt sleep on wet bedding on the plus side the hotel was in a central part of diyarbakir near to shopping area beware of the street children who pester you for money and throwing stones , wouldnt go back to this hotel again .

I stayed in a single room for 3 nights. Room was nice and clean, with air con (very important in that hot city). Unfortunately none of the numerous guys I met a the reception spoke english and the breakfast was really bad (just some bread and cheese).

broken taps , lack of cleanliness , the remains of other users, empty minibar. Good wifi and in some rooms , problems with the air conditioning. 

The hotel is in the dowtown and has nice views to the big Black Wall of the city.
