Ortam Pension

Ortam is the best venue to spend vacation in Datca. We have stayed in the centre, but have came to Ortam almost every day of our stay because of its natural beauty and quality service. You must try squid stuffing and octopus salad. Fish and all of the side dishes are also really nice. 

I've just left after having the most wonderful stay at Ortam Pension. The staff and the owners were so lovely and made me feel very welcome and relaxed. Suilyman- one of the owners even took me for a tour on his motorbike! The food was so fresh and delicious. Amazing seafood! Great coffee!  I can honestly say that given the chance I will e back again.

An outstanding place in an exquisite aerea. A small bay, few sailing ships, 3/4 Pensions on the front. Two complementary partners, Suleiman et Mahmoud, one apnea diver and chief of the grill, the other a “Maître d'Hôtel”, restaurant manager. All of this in a friendly and family atmosphere (the translation of the name Ortam). You will feel like home. The rooms (3!) on the right side, in front of sea, are in old stone built, ask for one of them. The food is remarkable, between so well done “Mezze”, and traditional dishes. My recommendation for stuffed calamari, or Octopus Beurek, ..tremendous ! Have to say that the Chef, a lady, is a skilled cooker. 
We spent three days and have our lunches and dinners here, unable to go elsewhere. We felt sad to quit Ortam to go back working. Hayitbükü is the nicer place of the peninsula, according to us.

This place is magnificent. After one day in Hayitbükü you would like to stay forever. And Ortam is definitely the best place to sleep and eat there. Try the sea food specialities - amazing!!! The service is also great and we will definitely come back! PS: Never try Ogun's place - the restaurant next door. It's exactly the opposite of Ortam in terms of quality and service.

Delicious food with fair prices

I checked the pension via its website and pictures in there are totally different then the reality.. the pictures are showing the wood houses, but they gave us a very small concrete room with one little window on top, has smell of humidity, no wardrope, including private bathroom but it is like the room (disappointment).. good points are hotel is just in front of the beach and sea foods of the hotel's restaurant are good.. dinner in sea side are really romantic..
