Hotel Guler

The room is tidy and big. Service at the reception is okay though the person in charge barely speaks English but fortunately I do know some Turkish. Hygiene is good. And breakfast is okay. Not much to ask as the price of the room was already so cheap. Good stay. Had a great night.

Nice and affordable 

One easily drives past Hotel Guler without noticing it, set on the slopes of Uludag mountain in Osmangazi, Bursa. 

It is a charming little place with the reception, lounge and breakfast area in an open-plan setting. The hotel does not have many rooms and there are no lifts in the building, so one must be prepared to ascend some or many stairs to one's assigned room (which can be on the first or second floor).

Our room had a large double bed which offered us probably one of the better 'sleeps' in our budget-trip around Turkey.

Breakfast consists of the typical Turkish fare: bread, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, olives, tomato, cucumber, a few spreads (honey, jam, chocolate) and a choice of tea or coffee.

The hotel personnel 9of which there are not many) are very friendly and helpful, but do not speak a lot of English.

The hotel is situated close to the main shopping streets where one can find a host of great restaurants and bars. The Ataturk house is also close by and well worth a visit.

All in all, an average stay and not exactly worth the money we paid for it.
Parking for our car was a bit of a pain as the streets are narrow and steep in places.

Average hotel in quiet area

this hotel has a good position near the city center, but the rooms are very small not organized, not clean, No body speak English, breakfast are very poor and the menu doesn't changed all my stay.
I don't recommend it.
