Laguna Beach Alya Resort & SPA - All Inclusive

Just returned home after a lovely 2 weeks . Before I went I read reviews and now I wonder did people go to a different hotel and are confused. This is my honest review . Was there 2 weeks and can honestly say this hotel is amazing . There was always something to eat maybe not all my taste but I never starved there was something for all . Bbq on every night with fresh meat cooking a pasta station outside was lovely . Breakfast was the same always something and fresh eggs constantly on the go. Lunch not always a lot but it’s lunch time don’t always need a lot . The beach was lovely but hard on feet but what’s what flip flops or beach shoes are for. They served food down there purgers , pizza , chips and loads of salad they also had a lovely lady making the fresh pizza type bread down there . Drinks more limited at beach bar but was fine . Wine and beer was served along wotj soft drinks and fridges full of bottled water . The hill - it’s not that bad and the car to take you down takes less than a min . Got bad legs sit in the front seat no one expects anyone to climb in the Back . The walk down fine back up definitely get a work out but takes a couple of mins not long at all . Read one they said 5-10 mins definitely not my daughter is so slow and took her 2 -3 mins max . This hotel is so clean they never stop constantly on the move cleaning something . Sun beds - no wars here and I need to rush at all even the beach always had sun beds . We got up about 9 went for breakfast and pretty much got same beds on beach or by the pool every time around 10am so don’t be putting them down at silly times if not using them . The pool with the slides in gets very around there as surrounded in glass we couldn’t lay there for more than 20 mins while daughter on slides . Staff - can’t do enough for you waiters are so friendly they don’t expect anything other than politeness some people are extremely rude but a pls and thank you goes along way . Shops - loads of shops with 10 mins walk aways . Ones by hotel are great as well not expensive like some say . The alara bizarre is best though we came back with loads guilty really good and can barter we got 2 tracksuits down from 75 euro to 40 on last day we had bought a lot from them but always good prices . Great bar there as well ask for any sport they will put it on we watched Leeds rhinos game there sat not a problem. A few restaurants about you just have to look them up and google map it really easy we found loads only went to couple though . We went into Alanya one day on the bus loads of shopping there but it’s just to hot to walk around even at night so save your money and shop at local bizarre . Entertainment - we didn’t see much in the day as was down the beach a lot but on days we were around the pool the constantly doing something my daughter played cards a few times and won she was very happy about that : At a night we only watched one show was ok wouldn’t say mind blowing but they worked hard. We played card games and sat on balcony a lot of the time. We preferred to get good nights sleep and make Noel’s of the days . There was something on every night though not till 9.30/10 and finished by 11 so again prob not for people wanting to be up really late watching something . My daughter is a teenager and didn’t get bored as we made it for her always doing something but she also just liked to chill on subbed and be on iPad at night or playing cards . Slides - never a a long wait 2 mins if that even when hotel was busy life guard very good at his job . Customer relations women is so helpful with any information you need about the area do not trust the reps they want you spend money going else where with them and it’s not needed. Pirate boat trip - waste of money all it is , is docking up 3 times swimming in the sea they do not take you to see the turtles as there no where near you go . Speed boat from the beach does that take you right to little island you can see from the beach it’s where they live. Pirate boat is an hour drive away then go see the caves which nothing actually there and food is dry pasta and chicken . Mattresses on the floor to sun bath but there all on top of one another so can’t really do that so pls save money and do something from the beach definitely better experience. Spoke to a family who paid for trip to alanya with rep was terrible went to some beach for 20 mins there was promised lunch at nice restaurant but couldn’t pick what you wanted it was dry pasta and bread given to you with packet of mayo . Shooting they got 2 hours but was too hot to do that there . It’s only 100 lira on bus to go they paid over £160 for 4 of them was such a waste of money . We had a great holiday would return again was relaxing some great views and never .
