Arrived at the hotel around midnight, The hotel was not known by the transfer driver, another couple had the same problem on another bus, But arrived at the same time as me.
I booked a one bedroom apartment, But was given a studio apart.
It looked like the room had beed done up over the winter, it was very clean and fresh.
I had to wait 2 days before they gave me a cooking hotplate, then 3 days before I got the control for the old TV, no digital TV or hairdryer in the rooms as stated.
The gate was locked at night so you had to knock someone up to get in, Cleaning was every 3 days (including your toilet paper bin).
They liked you to buy all your items from their market shop, But it was pretty empty, only water,bread, eggs, and soft drinks.
there was no Bar open, so the pool boy had to run to another hotel to get you a cold beer, after the first week, they started to get some stock in, but still no bar to have a drink in before you went out at night.
all in all, The place was very clean, very little English spoken, But I got on fine with everybody.
I would stay here again as its in the area I like to be, and it was a good price.
I don't class June as too early in the season, so I think the hotel should have been better prepared.

pretty poor service

This hotel is not what it says it is in the brochure, when we arrrived we had to wake the guy at reception, there was no water in the pool, our room had not been touched since the end of last season, shower was run on electric but didnt work, repiped to solar unit but leaks extremely badly. We couldnt get any air conditioning (the wires had been cut to the unit in the living room), bathroom door wouldnt close, you were supposed to get garden or pool view, we had a view of some over grown garden which didnt seem to belong to the hotel. Room 207, check the toilet seat, loose and cannot be tightened, some lights were not working (fixed next day) smoke alarm battery continually beeping until we removed it (supposed to have been sorted). room next door, 208, battery can be heard beeping even though one of the owners family lives on that floor. No drinks at bar,  had to be fetched up from downstairs shop each time, originally had no beer or diet cola and twice had to fetch beer from other hotels (one bottle at at time).  Top wardrobe shelf, too high for me to use, was found to be hiding a blood stained sheet from when?? Cooking ring cable had been burnt through and taped up (was repaired). Plenty empty rooms but we were refused a move. Old lady on reception says rooms were to be cleaned only every three days even though notice on room wall stated every day. Worst still there was no general waste bin and leaving a toilet bin to be emptied every three days is disgusting.

never again at this hotel

Great holiday experience. Quiet at this time of year. Great family run hotel. Clean and staff very friendly despite the language problem, but I feel that after 8 years of travelling to Turkey I should realy learn some of the basic words. Great location, near restaurants, beach and night life. Travelled with my daughter and she loved it, afterall a holiday is what you make of it. politelness and being coutoeus to the Turkish people made our holiday. My overal experience, good value for money, clean with pleasant staff. Would book again for next year

just returned from gumbet,we stayed at the cemuhan as it was near to everything but not too close for it to be a problem,it was perfectly clean and well maintained staff friendly and helpfull although language barrier sometimes a problem but you learn a little turkish and make the effort even if its just goodmorning and thankyou then its very much appreciated,take a hairdryer because the brochure says theres one in the room but there isnt and it costs about a fiver a week to rent one off the hotel,if you want a base to explore this is a good spot beech ten minutes away shops and resteraunts 5 minutes but down a steep slope,although there is another way to the centre thats a little more forgiving,breakfast fine all fresh stuff but take some istant coffee sachets as no coffee provided just hot water,shop very cheap downstairs they sell coffee sachets and general stuff,check out is 11 am which is early but 50 tl { about 14 pounds } which will secure the room untill you leave,overall pleased and would go back to this hotel

basic but very reasonable for the price

I booked this hotel because it was ridiculously cheap. When I arrived I was really quite chuffed as my room was spacious, clean and well decorated. But little did I know it wouldn't be the hotel I'd end up unhappy with!
I stayed here by myself as my sister is engaged to a Turkish man and I went out to visit them. Her and her fiancé took my up to the hotel, it was easier as he obviously speaks Turkish and could explain my situation to the staff. The elderly lady on reception was reasonably friendly, explained that my sister was free to come and visit and use the pool here with me if she liked. I paid extra for air con (£3 per day) which was fine, it was most definitely needed so I was happy to pay!
That night I went out and returned home at around 3am, being walked home by my sister and her fiancé, the elderly gentleman at reception was extremely irate and in my opinion, aggressive! He became very angry with both me and my sisters fiance. He demanded my room key from me and said I would be allowed it back when I wanted to leave the hotel. He told my sisters fiance to leave and wouldn't even let him stand infront of the building!!!!
I came down the next morning and him & his wife were quite apologetic and said it was late and he didn't understand what was going on, I thought that would be the end of it but he really just got worse!
He would stare at me, refuse to say hello or goodbye and just made it really quite obvious he didn't like me!! On afew occasions whilst I sat around the pool he asked who I was, why I was using his pool and if I was staying he wanted to know my room number!!
The final straw was on returning at around 5.30am one morning after having gone to a Turkish club he actually turned off the electricity in my room! As punishment I suppose!!! I had to go down and ask him to turn it back on as my room was so hot and he told me to wait, about an hour later it came on.
I would say only stay here if you don't plan on ever leaving!!! Anyone English, or anyone who wants to go out later evening should avoid this place like the plague. It was like staying with your grandparents. Who hate you.

Moan over the hotel itself is actually very nice. It's clean and well maintained. The pool is small but nice, however only 5 sun loungers so set an alarm!!! If you're up after 8.30am you don't have a chance!!
Hotel in a nice quiet location but still very easy access to bars, clubs, restaurants and the beach. Come out of the hotel and turn right, walk for 5 minutes you will be in the heart of bar street!! Lots of very steep hills which lead to the next road down, but as soon as you reach the bottom the beach is 2 minutes away.

I paid for b&b, but I can't comment on that. I was never told anything about it on check in and to be honest I knew I'd never be up in time for it anyway!!

Check out is at 11am which I think is a little early and no option of keeping room on.

Would stay here again with different management but no way whilst this horrible man is still there.
